This is a really good hotel, never had a bad experience here!
Pros:

I always enjoy my stay here - the staff are lovely! The rooms are clean and spacious, there’s plenty walks for the dog, the pool/ sauna and gym are great. The breakfast was good. All in all excellent value for money - thank you 🤩

A pleasantly modern hotel, well located with good facilities.
Pros:

Hotel felt fresh and modern. Our spacious and quiet room had a lovely view over the countryside. Very comfortable bed. We particularly enjoyed the pool and evening drinks at the terrace bar. The staff were friendly and helpful. Although the hotel is marketed as a golfing centre, the location is very good for exploring the Borders.

Cons:

No fridge in the room a disappointment.

A lovely few days celebrating my birthday.
Pros:

Enjoyed having the pool and the golf course on site. Staff were all friendly and helpful.

Cons:

The breakfast was poor! There was great choice but the hot food was all overcooked and drying and, that was at 8.30 in the morning! Pity there wasn’t a cheaper, continental option.

Good clean facilities, lovely setting, the staffing let it down

It’s getting a bit tired (bedrooms)
Need a bigger dining area for breakfast
The staff were non existent in the lower bar numerous times over the weekend.
The staff at the upstairs bar didn’t even acknowledge you.
The staff waiting to seat you in the restaurant area were sullen. Lied about tables being unavailable at breakfast time when they clearly just needed cleaned and reset.
No staff manning reception a couple of time at what would be a peak time: watched one member of staff walk back with mug of tea.
