Perfect stay in Peebles centre.
Pros:

Perfect location to explore Peebles. Nice bar with lovely beer garden on site but no issues with noise at night. Accessible to everywhere. Rooms are clean and big, beds comfy.

Good location - most of the staff lovely

Cons:

Accessible room booked for 5 days -lift also used as service lift . This was often switched to ‘service mode’ and had to request assistance for it to work - or was blocked by being full of laundry or beer barrels . To get to lift had to go through upstairs function room which was locked several times . The TV worked intermittently was told it was ‘ because of the rain’ .no breakfast included. decor needed updating .2 single beds were on castors and moved around had to wedge them as were sliding when mum was getting up out of bed etc

Staff were friendly and rooms were nice

Cons:

The options at breakfast some not avaliable and because i didn't like some items on the small breakfast no alternatives were offered and I paid over £8 for one sausage, one piece of bacon anx one egg and when we mentioned this to staff nothing was suggested to make the situation better

A central Peebles hotel which in general was quite acceptible
Pros:

It was clean and comfortable and the staff were friendly

Cons:

At 5am someone in the room above me started to pace around their room noisily and woke me. It lasted for a while and I could not get back to sleep.
I appreciate that old buildings have less good sound proofing but....,!

A great place for a short stay in Peebles.
Pros:

Nice location in a cute town with a lovely walking path along the river. The staff were very welcoming!

Cons:

It’s a bit dated but to be expected in an older building.
