Superbe emplacement à Poolewe, entre lac et rivière, un jeune serveur tout juste embauché qui a fait de son mieux.
L odeur de tabac froid dans le hall, de friture dans le restaurant, de brûlé dans la salle du petit déjeuner, une chambre exiguë, un lit peu confortable (ressorts), des toiles d araignées, un vieux gâteau sous le lit, et un petit déjeuner catastrophique à toutes les tables ! (tomates, champignons bouillis ET grillés-brûlés, des œufs brouillés cuits dans l eau, des fruits en conserve "mousseux" dans un saladier, du bacon cramé...)
Dinner quite good. Good sized shower room. Attentive staff even if he was on his own.
One man appeared to be doing everything. Booking in - serving drinks - serving dinner. Needs a lot of work done. No view from window.
Location excellent. Room clean. Breakfast disappointing. Bacon burnt, fried egg swimming in oil, fresh fruit salad looked most unappealing, coffee machine looked old and not to my taste.

One Evening meal was uncooked and had to be sent back. Shower was very very poor
Personally we had a reasonable size room with 2 single beds which were comfortable and the bathroom also a good size. We stayed for two nights.
The breakfast was well prepared and we had the choice of kippers which were excellent with all the normal other breakfast items available on the table with juice and coffee.
The hotel has a restaurant for evening meals and a bar if required.
The hotel is also close to several other amenities and also not far from the nearby village by car.
This is quite an old hotel. Our stay was relatively comfortable. Beds were comfortable. Bathroom was okay but you have to climb in a bath for your shower. Offered a good breakfast.

nothing. hotel was closed when we arrived and doesnt open until 4pm
it doesnt open until 4pm. This is not a hotel. they should be advertising this as a room with a close by resturant that doesnt open until 4pm. cant even get a coffee after a 7 hour drive. When we asked we were shot down saying its on their website. On their website check in is 4pm. you expect a hotel to be open before that time
