Great place friendly people quite location
Good wifi, good shower, attentive staff.
Had to wedge the sash window open using my suitcase otherwise it would have closed. Continetal Breakfast was served in the morning, it was too dark to see everything so I think I had some cornflakes, but couldn't really tell until I was in some light.
The hotel had a lift, the bed was large and comfy. Great price.
Considering the oppressive heat there was no fan. They did apologise.

The hotel could not have predicted how hot the weather was going to be, however, it was a red weather alert due to the heat, and the hotel room had one inefficient fan, we could have done with another fan. Also no fridge in the room to keep our drinks cool.

Poor cleaning and maintenance, eg old tea/coffee stains on the cup, filthy tea tray, grouting in shower discoloured/mouldy, cracked sink, broken sash window, a block of wood was supplied to prop it open, poor 'continental' breakfast, 1 coffee, 2 toast, one little sachet of jam.
Very good value for money. Every single member of staff were really friendly, extremely helpful from the reception, cleaners to the night staff. Nothing was a problem for them

Absolutely disappointing and far below any acceptable standard.
The room had a strong unpleasant smell upon arrival. The floorboards and bed were constantly creaking, making it difficult to relax. The window was damaged and did not close properly, allowing wind to whistle through all night, creating both a cold draft and continuous noise.
The bathroom was extremely dirty. There were hairs stuck to the shower drain, and mould and limescale were present throughout the bathroom. The shower was effectively unusable because the water temperature could not be adjusted and remained dangerously hot. Instead of fixing the issue, a Post-it note had been left warning guests to be careful with the hot water.
To make matters worse, the TV was not working, no WiFi available.
Overall, the property appeared poorly maintained, unhygienic, and neglected. This was one of the most disappointing hotel stays I have experienced and I would not recommend it.

Everything. The windows were rotten. The place was very shabby and unclean looking. The staff weren't very friendly except the lady on reception when we checked in.
