Excellent breakfast. Beautiful and comfortable room. Lovely staff. Beautiful area to relax.
It was very warm when I stayed and my upstairs room was a bit warm at night. But really that’s my only ver minor thing.
A szálloda szép környéken fekszik, sok a látnivaló és a programlehetőség. A személyzet rendkívül kedves, nagyon segítőkész, a tisztaság makulátlan, a hangulata a helynek nagyon - nagyon kellemes, családias, megnyugvást kelt, és egyáltalán nem hivalkodó. Több nagyon neves prémium szállodában voltunk Skóciában, de ez a hely volt az, amire gondolkodás nélkül mondom, hogy a legjobban tetszett nekünk.
Sajnos csak 1 éjszakára volt lehetőségünk megszállni, de biztosak vagyunk abban, hogy szeretnénk hosszabb időre visszajönni!
Picit sokat kellett várni a vacsoránál, de igazából ez nem volt gond, csak meglepően hosszú idő. Az előétel után kb. 1:10 perccel kaptuk meg a főételt.
Absolutely everything ! Newhall Mains has become one of our favorite places on earth ❤️ We felt instantly home! The peace and quiet, the kindness of the staff (we knew all of their names after just 2 days), the breathtaking breakfast and dinners at the restaurant Spruce, the stunning nature all around, the lovely cows or should I say coos? 😉 We really hope to come back soon!!

Sauna might be provided for more time and shared with other guests. Restaurant is overpriced.
Amazing breakfast et Gourmet Cuisine
Extrem schön und luxuriös, wir hatten ein ganzes Apartment mit Erdgeschoss und ersten Stock + Ankleidezimmer. Es waren sicher 90 Quadratmeter

We had a very pleasant one night stay. We were given a room upgrade to a lovely duplex 'cottage' unit with a separate living room, kitchen and dressing room. It was great to be able to spread out as we were on a long trip and had quite a few bags and other luggage with us. The staff were all extremely friendly and helpful. The property was a bit quiet, with just a few guests at breakfast and dinner. Beautifully finished and decorated - though maybe not 100% to my taste, with some original/interesting art. I'm sure that we'd have enjoyed the activities in the area, but we were just passing through.
I'd say that for the price - more expensive than properties we would usually book - the food could have been better. It was fine, just nothing special. The property was also a bit hard to find when we missed the turning the first time and our sat nav took us to what looked to be a rear entrance but was actually a private property. We'd have liked to be able to park our car right outside the unit but the walk to the parking was manageable.

Had high expectations for dinner at the restaurant. The waiting staff during our dinner service wasn’t particularly knowledgeable about the menu or ingredients and the food nor staff met our standards. The restaurant itself was beautiful, the barman was lovely and he was still learning about whiskeys (which we hoped for a bit more experience).
This is a very special hotel which has been converted and furnished with superb style and design to exceptional standards. We were upgraded to a two storey cottage which was honestly unbelievable. The restaurant was Michelin standard with every course beautifully presented and wonderful flavours. There is also a great bar and public lounge. We stayed for one night before flying home from Inverness airport but we would love to go back and spend more time. The deputy manager Rafaella and all the staff were wonderful and a credit to the hotel.
Everything was perfect!
Truly a special place. One of a kind. It was intimate and quiet and suited us perfectly. The dining was fantastic, both for a special dinner and the included breakfast. We took advantage of the e-bikes as well. A memorable experience.
