A lovely hotel in a beautiful setting. Very comfortable and with a warm welcome.

Nothing springs to mind
An amazing setting for a wonderful hotel. The staff were all fantastic and a credit to the hospitality world. Our tasting menu in the library was great and we loved all the public rooms in the hotel which encouraged you to relax. Special mention to the sommelier whose energy and knowledge was wonderful to witness. I always find these smaller hotels tend to get the more personal touches right.

Feel that the pool and spa facilities could be done with and upgrade but I believe some facilities are having an upgrade.
Location is ideal for a relaxing break. The hotel is situated in beautifully landscaped gardens and there are a number of easy walks from the property. The hotel staff were all very friendly and welcoming. Plenty of comfortable places to sit both inside and outside. The food was very good. Highly recommend.
Lovely staff, facilities and very close to excellent walks and bike trails.
Rooms were very hot, but that's our personal preference for cooler spaces.
Being able to enjoy a walk in the garden, even in early April, was a joy.
The breakfast menu covered a wide range to suit any palate/age.
Our room was very well appointed with a partial view of the garden; the bed was extremely comfortable!

Nous étions au cottage gate house et malheureusement il y a de nombreux nids de corbeaux juste au dessus du cottage qui rendaient l’extérieur sale (jeux d’enfant inutilisables, dommage).

The people were so incredibly nice along with a fantastic location. We only stayed one night but wished we planned for more here. Callum and Alex were so kind and the dinner was money well spent.
