A hidden gem that exceeded all expectations!
Pros:

The photos of the room and property on Booking.com did not do this place justice. Arriving here felt like discovering paradise on Earth. The gardens were stunning, and the garden house was the perfect place to relax and admire the beauty of nature. A beautiful place in Cairngorms.

The views from the property, with snow-capped mountains in the distance, reminded me of the Rocky Mountains in the United States and Canada. We stayed in one of the “House Rooms,” which was incredibly spacious, comfortable, and filled with natural light from windows overlooking the gardens.

The food was exceptional and unlike anything we had experienced before. We followed the sommelier’s recommendations for both the wine and food pairings, and every suggestion was spot on. It was the perfect way to end our trip, enjoying outstanding regional cuisine and a truly pampering experience.

The history of this place alone is worth the trip. I won’t spoil it—you should discover it for yourself. It is a fascinating story and an experience well worth the journey.

The drive to the hotel was a bit challenging for me, but once we arrived, it was absolutely worth it. The swimming pool and spa were wonderful and gave us plenty of time to relax and unwind before dinner. And the people... they were simply amazing. Scotland has completely won me over!
