Hidden and incorrect additional charge despite having emailed us confirmation of no additional charges for checking in at 2pm they tried to charge another £15. They told us there was no charge for a cup of tea we had in the garden then when challenged about charge for early check in they said it was an error but were charging for the cup of tea £8. Radiators in room were all off and we had to turn them on and heating didn’t fire up till 7pm by which time we were very cold.

The location was great and everywhere is exceptionally clean and tidy and cannot fault the property at all
The whole presentation was excellent with good location. Staff was superb
Nothing really it was very tastefully decorated and quality of room was spot on. If I had to mention one thing it would be the WiFi kept dropping out but not anything that spoilt the stay.
Beautiful, tranquil hotel, with hens, ducks, peacocks, and very friendly little dogs in the garden. Wonderful food, and excellent value for money.
Newly refurbished room was extremely comfortable and cozy. All the staff were so friendly and helpful too.
We'd love to go back in Summer when we can enjoy the outside environment better - dogs, birds, lovely garden and outlook.

Location and quality of room
Comfortable room, fabulous food no question about it
The hotel is beautiful. The restoration has been lovingly completed by the owner.. Our room was large , comfortable and very clean. We brought our little dog with us and wer so pleased to have a decent room, not always the case when bringing a pet.
We ate at the hotel and the meal was delicious, as was the breakfast.
A great blend of old world Edwardian charm, with high end contemporary cuisine.
