The room, the views, the carvery and staff very helpful.
Not really a negative the shower flow was really slow and not powerful.

Fantastic view overlooking the bay. Room was ok, clean and had most things needed. Was lovely having breakfast provided and the top up bag was a good idea. A fridge was definatly needed in the room though as breakfast was warm and so were the drinks.
The shower had no power at all so wasnt good. Room was very hot aa there was no air conditioning in the building.
The room was very spacious, clean and well furnished. Tea/coffee making facilities. Also the alternative breakfast, ie fruit juice, flapjacks and choc-au-pain rolls was very welcome.
We didn’t eat in the pub/restaurant but enjoyed a cold drink in the pub garden.
We found the location ideal with the Downs across the road. Several eating places with 5-10 minutes walk. The beach is within walking distance or there’s the Cliff Railway down to the beach. There’s a regular bus service which goes to several other resorts, eg Torquay, Paignton, Brixham and Dawlish. There are lots of beautiful walks close by to.

View from room was excellent.
Cold breakfast was good.
Shower was not powerful enough.
The room was very spacious and clean. I was able to leave my walking aid downstairs which was appreciated. It was a nice gesture to have muffins and flapjacks in the bedroom too. The. View from the bedroom was magnificent and lots of walking areas particularly on the downs. Will no doubt be visiting again next year.
There were a few areas in bedroom which could do with an upgrade, particularly the furniture, but is not an issue with such beautiful views
Very large spacious room, extremely clean with lovely views over the bay. Staff very good.
Water pressure a bit low for shower. Couldn’t open a window in the bedroom and it did get rather hot and uncomfortable during the night…..perhaps instructions to open the windows could be left in the room…did realise that there was a fan however if used all night that would be costly for you !
Breakfast was muffins and flapjacks in the bedroom. Ok but not special.
The men who were there to ( not sure what ) were unfriendly. The women cleaners were very nice and friendly. This is not a hotel more like motels in USA. Impersonal and lacking hospitality.
Everything, room was clean and tidy loved view out the window was lovely.
Nothing air show weekend
Everything, everyone was so helpful and kind, very friendly too, it was my daughter and fiancé who stayed after we suggested it to them, as we had stayed before and loved it, will be back.

Very relaxed atmosphere and good food
The hotel staff were fantastic and welcoming from the moment we arrived - And the location was amazing! We upgraded to a King room and wow! It did not disappoint. Huge room with a lovely sea view. We loved our stay and would reccommend to anyone, we will definitely be back! :)

Location excellent, cleanliness and friendly staff. Went to Angels for breakfast very good.
A firmer mattress would have benefited both our backs as mattress on bed was uneven.
Location with great sea view, lovely big room and clean
Review would have scored a 10 but the shower was the only thing that let it down. Lovely big cubicle but the water was nothing more than a trickle. Despite mentioning this to staff who said they would sort it the second day was even less pressure. Only thing that was disappointing about our stay
