Sehr fein, gerne wieder
Pros:

- wir wohnten im Appartement BORA in der Nähe des Hotels, quasi eine Ferienwohnung die zum Hotel gehört
- Garagenplatz hatten wir beim Hotel dazu gebucht, ganz in der Nähe, tolle Garage, alles bequem und problemlos. Vom Hotel kam direkt jemand zum Appartement um uns alles zu zeigen, ein- und auschecken sehr problemlos und freundlich.
- Das Haus ist wunderschön und liegt direkt beim Zentrum. Alles Wichtige gut zu Fuß zu erreichen und Geschäfte, Cafés, Bars, Restaurants etc alles vor der Haustür.
- Das Appartement im 3. Stock (es gibt einen Lift :) selbst ist sehr ruhig, sehr gut ausgestattet, die Räume sind hell und großzügig, Klimaanlage, großes Bad, Küche etc alles vorhanden was man braucht, auch ein kleiner Balkon zum Hof hinaus
- Das Haus selbst ebenso wie das Appartement sind Teil einer langen Familiengeschichte einer der bekanntesten Triestiner Familien. Das sieht und spürt man in jeder Ecke. Das Appartement ist eine ehemalige Wohnung eines sehr kunstaffinen Mitglieds der Familie (der auch maßgeblich das Hotel selbst mit besonderen Stücken eingerichtet hat), man atmet Geschichte in jedem Winkel des Hauses und auch des Appartements. Man fühlt sich wie auf Besuch bei lieben Verwandten. Wen das nicht interessiert, der hat einfach ein liebevoll eingerichtetes Appartement. Aber wer etwas erfahren möchte über die Geschichte des Hauses und deren Familie kann nur staunen über die unglaublich vielen Details.

Cons:

- Die Holzböden knarren sehr laut. Uns hat das nicht gestört, aber wer leicht aufwacht wenn der Partner zum Bad oder zur Küche geht, der könnte sich dadurch ein bisschen gestört fühlen
- Das Appartement geht nach hinten hinaus zum Hof. Das hat einerseits den Vorteil dass es sehr ruhig ist (vom dumpfen Surren aller Klimaanlagen abgesehen), jedoch gibt es keinerlei Aussicht. Man sieht nur enge Schächte, enge Hinterhöfe oder gegenüber liegende Mauern. Da wir viel unterwegs waren hat uns das nicht weiter gestört, das Appartement ist auch trotz der engen Hinterhöfe sehr sonnig und hell. Aber wenn jemand Wert auf eine tolle Aussicht legt, wird man enttäuscht sein.

Sehr angenehmer Aufenthalt, sehr freundliche Gastgeberinnen und alle sehr zuvorkommend.
Pros:

Das Frühstück war sehr liebevoll zubereitet. Die Damen waren sehr freundlich und gut gelaunt. Es war alles da was zu einem guten Früstück gehört. Ruhige Lage aber sehr zentral. Wir konnten sogar unsere Rennräder versperrt im Hotel unterbringen. Parkgarage gleich in der Nähe um 20€ pro Tag.

Cons:

Das Parken vor dem Hotel ist kaum möglich. Aber beim Ausräumen des Autos wurde uns sofort geholfen, so dass die Straße schnell wieder frei wurde.

Schönes, empfehlenswertes Apartment
Pros:

Das Apartment hat Flair. Es befindet sich in einem hübschen historischen Gebäude, direkt in einer lebhaften Fußgängerzone mit vielen Restaurants. Da es auf einen Innenhof geht, ist es in der Wohnung sehr ruhig.
Im Apartment ist alles vorhanden, einschließlich Waschmaschine und Geschirrspüler, auch ein Fahrstuhl ins 3. Stockwerk.
Wir wurden von einer netten Dame empfangen, die uns alles gezeigt und erklärt hat.
Man kann für sein Auto einen Parkplatz in einem abgeschlossenen kleinen Parkhaus buchen. Bedingt durch die Altstadtlage befindet der sich 10 Minuten Fußweg vom Apartment entfernt. Angenehm war auch, dass wir unser Auto noch 2 Stunden länger im Parkhaus lassen konnten.
