herzlicher Empfang - man spürt den persönliches Touch in diesem sympathischen kleinen Hotel
Pros:

Frühstück gut: schön, wenn man den Cappucino gemacht bekommt und dazu nicht selbst an eine (schlechte) Maschine muss. Gute Auswahl an Honig und Konfitüre. Sehr sympathisch alles!

Highly recommended although we want to keep it a secret because it's so special!
Pros:

The hotel--where we've stayed on 3 or 4 occasions feels like a "home away from home" in Trieste and the staff are fabulous--friendly, warm, welcoming and always eager to help and engage.

Nettes kleines Hotel in einer Seitenstraße, sehr zentral. Viele Bars in der Umgebung. Tolles italienisches Frühstück, aufmerksames Service und liebevoll eingerichtete Zimmer. Wunderbar!

Pros:

Localisation, style, petit-dejeuner avec confitures super, gentillesse, chambre très propre et bien insonorisée (malgré l’âge du batiment et l’emplacement bruyant)

Cons:

Le prix reste assez élevé (garage à 20€/jour en sus - n’espérez pas pouvoir facilement vous garer devant pour décharger, du reste - la rue est trop étroite et passante et pleine de motos empiétant sur la route) et l’arrivée à 20:00 exactement (on nous a appelés à 19:30 puis à 19:59 pour la seconde fois alors que nous étions à 1 minute de l’entrée) étaient des points négatifs - les seuls, cela dit, pour ceux qui n’ont pas besoin d’ascenceur).

Pros:

Frühstück mit großer Auswahl und freundlicher Bedienung. Liebevolle, kreatve Ausstattung der Räumlichkeiten voller gesammelter, einzigartiger Objekte.

Great stay in a lovely, charming hotel
Pros:

Lovely, helpful staff. Comfortable, quiet, spotlessly clean room, nicely decorated. Great bed, slept soundly. Central location, could walk to almost everything in town, or take cheap, reliable buses. Lots of restaurants nearby. Breakfast was excellent: delicious breads, lots of homemade jams and honey, coffee made to order. Flexibile timing for breakfast, too.

Cons:

The internet could have been stronger in the room. Since the walls are thick and therefore phone coverage inside was weak, the internet issue was a handicap. We mentioned this to staff at checkout; they said they would look into it.
