Very friendly and helpful staff!
The room was exceptionally poor in so many respects. I could start with the fact that the bathroom light didn't switch off, the bathroom door could not lock. The door itself was a cheap attempt to be some or other decor style. Big fail. The shower mixer was for a bath with a diverter knob, and the mixer was installed upside down so the average temperature could never be gained as lever couldn't move over diverter knob. While eclectic decor can be welcome and tasteful, it wasn't the case here, and the functional and vitally important aspects of the room was very poor.
Clean and friendly staff
Nothing
Beautiful nature around and beautiful scenery.
It was nothing like the website showcases. It’s poorly maintained, the shower floor had many tiles missing. I’ve stayed in many sceptic tank places, none ever smelled of urine like at Le Reve.
We left early as it was not a relaxing stay.
Location is good.
Staff is poor. Checkin was exceptionally poor. The staff member who checked us in struggled to communicate. She quietly reqd out the check in docs. She coukd not answer wifi or cell reception questions.
The restaurant was not great. We received two menus for three people. The one had pages missing.
Drinks was extremely expensive. We eventually rather went for dinner in town.
We stayed in the 'cottage'. It just felt not looked after.
There is a water filter system - but its not connected. It is lying in the cubboard. The shower overflows. The actual drain plug is lying in the shower but not installed.
The setting, decor and ambience were exceptional
Breakfast should be more comprehensive
The location and bed etc was very comfortable.
The food for dinner was horrible. We ordered the ribs. Would have been better off with pizza or pasta. Breakfast the next morning was much better.
Friendly staff
The bed did not have a proper mattress, it was a cut up sponge mattress covered with a bed sheet, not very comfortable.
Big bath in the room, but no soap or bubble bath.
Noisy at night, it sounded like someone was moving furniture around at 2am.
Burger buns at the restaurant were stale, literally disintegrated when picked up.
The staff was very friendly and helpful. Entered on a professional level and left on a first-name basis, especially Lucy and Charne, and the Manager. We forgot a charger in the room, and within minutes the staff phoned, not once but three times, to get in touch with us to inform us thereof. The pedicures were most enjoyable, my partner and I both enjoyed it, thoroughly.
