Pros:

Ruime kamer met alle basics die je nodig hebt.

Cons:

Vlakbij Nyang Nyang beach, maar verder is er weinig in de buurt.

In de voorste kamer heb je last van een riool geur in de badkamer en een rare geur in de kamer zelf. De kamer was wel ruim. Ook komen ze het iedere dag poetsen, alleen verloopt die communicatie niet altijd even vlot.

De eigenaar was vriendelijk, maar echt een warm gevoel kreeg ik hier niet. Ik had mijn kleren laten wassen bij hun laundry service (niet doen!). De helft van mijn kleren hadden vlekken van kleurwisselingen, hiermee heeft de eigenaar wel zeer goed geholpen.

Hele fijne plek voor eerste paar dagen
Pros:

Hele fijne host en prachtige binnentuin met zwembad

Cons:

Jammer dat er geen ontbijt wordt geserveerd maar er is een kleine buitenkeuken waar je zelf aan de slag kan + een leuke Warung op de hoek.

Stunning, exactly like the photos. Lovely café Heal a 2 minute walk up the road

Cons:

Quite remote and therefore requires transport by gojek or grab which work like Uber to get to town. Approximately 3.5km to Uluwatu township, but the roads are not walkable. It was difficult trying to get a scooter in the morning to take me into town, sometimes waiting in to an hour, the taxi was a lot faster but higher price. This meant i was unable to nip back to my room during the day (if you leave something behind, want a shower or to get changed)

, so i found myself in town all day and night untill I was ready to go home. Location was the only downside of Sanjula, otherwise I highly recommend!

Pros:

Lovely pool and most places were max a 10 minute grab away

Cons:

Awful smell in three of the rooms due to plumbing issue which the staff knew about prior to us arriving, but they were reticent to allow us to change rooms due to price difference (and seemed irritated about complaints of the smell)

Beautiful green scenery, lovely rooms with a TV and a lovely serene pool. The staff were helpful and offered to source us tickets to see the Kecak dance at Uluwatu temple. It's a bit further out from the main area but we liked this. Easy to get around with a gojek bike or car :).

Cons:

Building site next door (happening all over the island so not their fault!). The bathroom became a little grimey after 3 nights but it is partially outside so hard to avoid!

De kamer en het tuintje waren prachtig! En het personeel heel vriendelijk!

Het wordt momenteel omringd door heel veel constructie, dus er was veel geluidsoverlast

El alojamiento era acogedor y súper bonito, el personal estaba 24h en recepción y estaban siempre súper atentos.

Cons:

Si he de decir algo “malo” no hay nada cerca del hotel, solo la playa “Nyang Nyang beach”, si quieres tranquilidad (es lo que buscábamos nosotros) es tu sitio. Además, para visitar las cosas, puedes coger un Grab, es súper fácil.

The villa was so good! There was a man called Gri! He was one of the nicest guys I’ve ever met! He works so hard and he doesn’t get much rest he waits up till like 4 in the morning to make sure you’re all good! He made the hotel so much of better place! Top man

Overall, the stay was fantastic. My partner & I had a wonderful stay. I would definitely recommend to friends.
The room itself was so nice & the bathroom was huge!
The pool was private (with only 3 rooms opening onto it) and nice and clean
