Cumplio con lo que esperaba del hotel. Buena vista, comodo, limpio, buen desayuno
Pros:

Excelente el desayuno, con todo lo que uno espera para un buen desayuno. No me falto nada de lo que normalmente espero.

Cons:

No hubo nada que no me haya gustado. Quizas la orientacion turistica a las consultas que hicimos no fueron muy amplias, si serviciales, pero me parecio que no tenia mucha informacion la persona que nos atendio.

Pros:

Zimmer war klein aber dafür sehr gut durchdacht und geräumig. Spa Bereich klein aber fein. Alles sauber.

Cons:

Auswahl beim Frühstück sehr begrenzt, Qualität nicht bei allen Produkten gut, und man musste immer wieder nachfragen dass sie nachfüllen. An unserem letzten Morgen gab es noch nicht mal mehr Rühreier (das einzige das man sich an den Vortagen bestellen konnte) und keine Erklärung wieso. Personal hat teilweise sehr laut untereinander geredet und gelacht. Hotel besitzt kein E-Fahrzeug für die Abholung am Bahnhof.

Pros:

I really loved this hotel and I am so happy I have chosen it, I really enjoyed my stay here. It is newly renovated; great for solo travellers, has a very nice sauna and very delicious food in the restaurant (the Chef has very good taste and the restaurant is visited also by the locals), the personnel is young and friendly, and I would like specially to mention Vlad and Fiorella, who made my stay at Carina especially memorable.
It is also conveniently located walking distance from the ski lifts (max 5 min walk) and the train station (approx. 10 min. walk.
The only regret I haven't stay longer.

A comfortable and convenient experience
Pros:

The hotel environment is very comfortable, stylish, and welcoming. Its location near the train station and cable car stations and makes it easy to access nearby attractions. The hotel staff are very friendly, and the food is delicious.

Modern rustig hotel op goede locatie
Pros:

Lekker verzorgd ontbijt , niet heel uitgebreid maar voldoende. Vriendelijk personeel. 2 min stappen van de funiculaire. Verzorgd mooi hotel. S avonds gratis water en thee in de gezellige lounge

Cons:

Als je voor de eco optie kiest (ik DACHT enkel dat ze dan handdoeken niet zouden verversen) komen ze de kamer geen enkele keer binnen, dus niet poetsen, niet opruimen maar zelfs de vuilbak niet ledigen

Friendly, accommodating management, no flexibility about basic breakfast
Pros:

The management provided an upgrade to a better room (Deluxe) which was really nice!

Cons:

The original room type (Cocoon) was a terrible layout and size with a very poor view. It felt claustrophobic because you could not access the window unless you climbed into the bed. Not pleasant at all.

Breakfast was very basic and the staff would not offer a fried egg even upon request or at an additional charge.

Disappointing for what we paid for (a lot of money).
Pros:

The view and the location were great - easy to get to and we had a nice view of the matterhorn from our balcony (we were staying in one of the penthouses). The staff was also friendly and welcoming upon arrival.

Cons:

We paid 1000 chf a night and for that amount I would expect:
Clean new sponge in the kitchen and not used
A coffee machine - not having to go downstairs and pay for a coffee from a machine
A bathrobe and no wardrobe to hang your clothes up
We used the spa multiple times and every time we went down there, there was no water (to drink) and dirty cups left around. There were also no extra towels in the spa / disgusting and unhygienic as you are only given one towel to cover yourself up and walk through the hotel with it
Breakfast was adequate - no choice of eggs (just hard boiled). The fruit juices were not fresh and there was not much "local variety".
Having travelled a lot I would say this hotel did not meet my expectations.
