i would truly recommend the experience of visiting the old acadian village and staying on site.
Pros:

I am fascinated that there is an hotel on the site. It is of outmost accommodating. We were able to visit the old village for a 2 day stay (the duration of our stay). It was amazing touring and experiencing life back in the days.

Retour dans le temps avec toutes les commodites modernes
Pros:

Reproduction historique d’un hôtel du début du siècle. L’hôtel est situé sur le site du Village historique acadien pour lequel la visite est inclue dans le prix tout comme le déjeuner. Le personnel est avenant et nous avons eu bcp de plaisir à visiter le site le lendemain. Le site est fermé en soirée mais on peut se rendre à Caraquet en 15 min de voiture pour manger, sortir, marcher le long de la plage.

Pros:

Très confortable, beaucoup de soucis piur garder une ambiance d'époque, les gens a l'accueil, au déjeuner le matin et le barman ont tous été super gentils et accueillants. Site exceptionnel, déjeuner vraiment bien.

Cons:

Peu d'options pour manger sur place si on ne se prévoit pas bien pour le souper, mais cest près de plein de resto si on sort du site.

Pros:

Finir la journée de visite du village historique acadien dans l’hôtel constitue une expérience unique (visite inclut dans le prix de la chambre).
Lit d’appoint très confortable. Notre fille de 6 ans a adoré l’expérience.
La chambre et le bâtiment offre un bon équilibre entre authenticité et « praticabilité ».
Déjeuner diversifié et excellent.
Personnel sympathique et efficace.

Un incontournable!
Pros:

Accueil chaleureux de Juliette à l’arrivée et durant notre séjour à l’hôtel!
Le déjeuner à la salle à manger était excellent (croissants chauds, fruits frais, yogourt, etc) et Diane était souriante, faisait la jasette avec nous, riait de bon cœur et jouait très bien son rôle en offrant de servir les messieurs en premier comme dans l’ancien temps…

Cons:

Difficile de trouver quelque chose de négatif car tout était parfait pour nous permettre un retour dans le passé!

I was surprised and a bit inconvenienced by our private bathroom being down the hall. Also, the lack of elevator added to the Victorian feel but was a bit difficult for my eighty plus years.

Cons:

Matelas mous, c'est un détail mais pas de téléviseur (probablement pour reproduire l'époque)
