Pros:

Sehr schön und geschmackvoll renoviertes denkmalgeschütztes Haus. Nettes und freundliches Personal. Zur Erholung und zum Wandern sehr schön gelegen.
War nur eine Nacht dort. Dafür war es OK.

Cons:

Mein Zimmer ( Nr. 6) würde ich nicht noch einmal nehmen. Der Aufstieg zum Schlafbereich auf der alten Stiege ist kriminell. Außerdem fehlte am Bett jegliche Abstellmöglichkeit für ein Glas oder so. Man musste alles auf den Boden stellen. Auch das Ein- und Aussteigen ins Bett ist nicht leicht, da es in der Schräge steht und man seitlich nicht rankommt.
Aber was ich am Dreistesten fand war das Frühstück. 19€ für das was geboten wurde fand ich einfach ne Frechheit. Daran muss definitiv gearbeitet werden. Aber ansonsten gefiel es mir.

Optisch und kulinarisch war es schön
Pros:

Ein tolles Objekt mit Charme und mit schönem Designmix. Das könnte eines meiner bevorzugten Hotels werden, wenn nicht...siehe negativ.
Das Restaurant und alles drumherum ist sehr gut, aber leider uralt und da ist das Problem.

Cons:

Das uralte Haus hat Probleme mit der Hellhörigkeit. Glücklicherweise war kaum ein Gast im Hotel, aber im Zimmer über mir hätte ich dem Telefonat gut lauschen können, sofern es nicht fremdländisch gewesen wäre. Der Frühsport im Zimmer über mir ab 6Uhr fand defacto in meinem Bett statt. Isolierung Wärme/Schall nach außen ist auch nicht gegeben, Durch die Risse zwischen Gefache und Balken hört man den Straßenlärm. Kalt war es nicht im Zimmer. Es ist halt uralt, man sollte sich dessen bewusst sein, aber so sollte ich das besser offen kommunizieren.

Ein sehr schönes Hotel im Odenwald, liebevoll eingerichtet
Pros:

Das Zimmer ist sehr schön gewesen, auch wenn für sehr große Menschen die Decken ziemlich niedrig sind. Das Bett toll, Personal toll.

Cons:

Das Frühstück war eher bescheiden von den Optionen her, da hätte ich mir für den Preis etwas mehr gewünscht.

Cons:

Etwas vom Frühstück enttäuscht ausreichend aber kleines Highlight für den Preis fehlte. Z.B Lachs
