Please note that Hotel Isole di Brissago is only reachable via boat from Porto Ronco or Locarno. The last boat to the island leaves around 17:00. The bus 316 is connecting the Locarno Train Station with Porto Ronco. A boat jetty is available for guests arriving with a private boat.

Please note that it is not possible to access the island with a car.

Amazing and special hotel
Pros:

Beautiful location and is so unique situated on the island. Really makes you feel relaxed. The restaurant food is incredible and the service was great. The breakfast included also was amazing.

Cons:

There is no AC in the bedrooms.

Ein Ort, wo sich Geschichte, Natur und Ruhe in der Natur zusammenkommen - Max Emmden Villa: Genial.
Pros:

Wunderbare Lage, perfektes Menü Gastro, sehr freundliches Personal, Zimmer sehr sauber, modern, jedoch Sonnenseite sehr warm, Kühlung war nicht ausreichend. Morgenessen perfekt. Nächstes Mal Sonnenseite abgewendetes Zimmer buchen.

Cons:

Hätten gerne Kühlschrank, kleine Bar, Getränke im Zimmer gehabt, da mehr als 25 Grad auch wahrend der Nacht.
Etwas zu wenig Salonmöbel im Parterre, da lässt sich noch viel machen.

Very unique stay that’s peaceful and beautiful

Cons:

It was my wife’s birthday and I asked the receptionist to make the stay a bit special. Either by flowers, or at least candles for dinner or breakfast. I didn’t get any of that and she didn’t even talk about it later on…
The last boat leaves Porto Ronco at around 2. But in the Hotel’s Booking description they mentioned it leaves at around 5pm.
