Homely stay in Ahangama
Pros:

My stay at Ruma was amazing! I got an upgraded my room for my stay when I arrived. I was only meant to be staying for one week and I ended up staying for almost 3 weeks!

The staff were beyond friendly and made me feel so at home every day. They brought me in special fruits from their garden to try and were always accommodating no matter what. I think they are what made my time here so nice!

I hired a scooter easily from them, did laundry and they even let me use the fridge as I didn’t have one in my room.

The views are incredible to watch the surf each day when having breakfast on the rooftop. Location is great and close to the main strip in Ahangama. Better with a scooter but you can walk.

Wifi is good but not great but that’s pretty normal in Sri Lanka.

Cons:

Nothing. Wifi could be stronger but that’s about it.

מקום בסדר, היה אפשר יותר להשקיע

חדר עם נוף לים

Cons:

חדר לא מבודד לרעשים, היו נמלים, המרפסת לא מתוחזקת היטב, העלייה לחדרים במדרגות, אני עליתי 2 קומות, המקום היחידי שנתקלתי בצ׳ק אאוט בשעה 10:00 ככה שזה פשוט לא נוח.

Comfy beds and aircon - battle it out at table tennis and plenty of eateries around.
Pros:

People were lovely and helpful, showing us where a nearby beach is and helping with advice on fuel (rationed at the time), fun table tennis table, book exchange (most in russian) and close to a few eateries! Go up the road beside it as plenty about 1km up there. Beds were comfy with nice linen.

Cons:

Very noisy with the road right next door. A little far from the town in the heat.
