Virkelig smukt og behageligt at være der. Føles mere som guesthouse end hotel.

Such a beautiful property, complete with the best dog (Patty)! The room and all its features were stunning - loved all the little details. The shared areas and pool were also beautiful. The staff were so friendly and helpful too.

The merchant house is a very special place, secluded from the main busy road of Ahangama but within walking distance. The place is stunning, clean and the staff is beyond helpful.

I liked that they had just 3 rooms on the whole property so it was very cozy, not crowded at all. The common areas were very spacious and the kitchen was neat and clean. Felt comfortable, the staff was friendly.

Po przyjeździe obsługa poczęstowała nas zimnym kokosem :) obiekt jest niezwykle klimatyczny i urokliwy. Pokoje i łazienka bardzo przestronne, wygodne łóżko, łazienka z pięknie pachnącym ręcznikami oraz kosmetykami. Obsługa jest niezwykle mila i pomocna. W obiekcie jest dostęp do kuchni, wody, herbaty i kawy a codziennie rano czekały na nas pyszne lokalne owoce i wyśmienita granola. Basen jest na prawdę duży, czysty, ilość leżaków odpowiada ilości gosci. Można na prawdę odpocząć w spokoju i pięknej zieleni. Czuliśmy sie w merchant house jak w domu!

Great set up and layout of the rooms, patio and swimming pool. Really cosy! Excellent staff and service, every day a new refreshed an super clean room. Highly recommend

Garden and pool are great - no noise from the main road. We saw monkeys and beautiful birds in the garden!

There is no restaurant or cafe on site. They offer complimentary yoghurt/milk with fresh fruit and granola, and French press coffee in the morning, which is a nice touch - but I would have loved to be able to order some drinks and snacks by the pool, have a relaxed breakfast/brunch in the morning or a late night snack or drink before bed.
Absolutely wonderful stay! The building is gorgeous, the staff are amazing, and everything was spotlessly clean. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and the adorable dog on site was a delightful bonus. Highly recommended! Also, the place next door serves great breakfast / brunch.
Lovely and relaxing stay in a very quiet setting. The only minor downside is that the location is a bit out of town, but it’s no issue at all if you have a scooter - just a few minutes to the town center. Overall, a peaceful place to unwind.

the pool and grounds were lovely, the bedrooms were nicely fitted out the bathrooms were lovely as well the airconditioned bedrooms were a relief
The cleanliness of the furniture as in the material on the couches and chairs were dirty. The kitchen had very few items to cook with the lady who came and cooked breakfast had to bring her own pans to cook our food the in the kitchen drawers were hard to move
There was no information booklet and we were unsure of the role of the staff, some days they set the table etc and other days they did not
They failed to have a proper cot and high chair on arrival and we were still negotiating to get these at 1.00am in the morning they were requested via the booking. very unsatisfactory
the dining cahirs were hard to lift
