Facilities, hair dryer was not there in room, toiletries was not there in room, hot water was not available 24/7
Everything was good except the kitchen opening hours too late, and hotel has cockroaches roaming around

It could have been a little cleaner
I booked for my parents as per the experience we had before. But this time it was pathetic. Geyser not working in cold. After asking them repeatedly they changed the room next day.

I had an exceptional stay at Abode. The staff were incredibly helpful, from the front desk to the cleaning team and restaurant staff, with special mention to Jaskiret Singh, Jasbinder Singh, Amanbir Singh, Jasvinder Singh, Kamaljeet, Rekha, and the Manager, who we had the pleasure of meeting during breakfast. The breakfast was delightful – though limited in variety, it exceeded my expectations.
The location is perfect, just a short 2-3 minute walk to Darbar Sahib, which made it easy for us to visit multiple times a day, including early mornings at 2 am. Situated right on the main Heritage Street, Abode is free from vehicle noise, offering a peaceful retreat amidst the lively pedestrian street.
Overall, my stay at Abode was truly worth every penny. I absolutely loved it!

A more welcoming experience could be achieved with regular wet mopping and vacuuming of the room floors. Additionally, ensuring the toilet bowls are consistently stain-free – possibly with bleach – would add to the cleanliness (though this was only a minor issue).
For safety, the back door should remain consistently locked, and the main entrance could be enhanced with room card access or controlled by the reception desk, especially given the busy nature of the street outside.
Finally, a more convenient payment option for foreign guests, such as credit card acceptance, would make the check-in process smoother.
Location is phenomenal
It's very overpriced considering their service , taste and general amenities. The rooms don't have fans which is tough when travelling with young kids who can't deal with AC blast all day.
Location- this was my second time here
Room needs repairs- phone received wasn’t functional, passage light wasn’t working, bathroom had fungus/black stains on the tiles, drawers were not clean.
