Staff welcoming and everyone very friendly and helpful xcant wait for my next stay xjust a ? Though for you.if you have Log cabins, spare, why don't you charge them?People 200 pounds per night. So you get extra money in your bank account.Just a suggestion.Think it would work for you if little cabins are all full .I would paid it . If given the opportunity if they are full if you know what I mean 😏. Miss Michelle barker

It is clean and comfortable.
It is quite expensive for just the use of a room. With no facilities in room except kettle there is nothing to be able to have breakfast. We used to go to clubhouse for breakfast. Maybe something should be put in room as a gesture or offers of a hamper.
The staff are amazing and most helpful

Clean, tidy & a good size plus parking directly adjacent the room
The one way system wasn’t very well lit & no breakfast available & no nearby cafes to eat
Pleasant location and nice walk round the lake.
The room was boiling, unbearably so. We were able to check in early, which was great but upon entering the room the heat was unbelievable. The radiators were that hot you couldn’t touch them.
It was that hot the toilet seat felt heated and we thought the bathroom has underfloor heating. The thermostat in the room said it was on 10 degrees, so we couldn’t even turn it down. My husband managed to turn the radiators off with the hope that whilst we were out the room would cool down.
We returned at approx 10pm, the radiators had been off for c8 hours, but the heat was still stifling. We sat with the door wide open to let some cold air in, which helped initially. We then had to close it to get some sleep.
We woke up in the night multiple times, literally sweating. This was after an earwig crawling out the bed. By 5:30am we were wide awake and lay in bed with the main door wide open to get some cold air in.
It was as though the lodges were empty either side of us and the heating on maximum there which was why ours wouldn’t cool down.
£100 for one night stay, where we barely slept seems extortionate. The lady on reception was kind and said we could email the manager, but that they were on holiday for a couple of weeks so unlikely would hear back for a while.
I feel disgruntled that at £100 for one night we had little sleep. The beds wasn’t overly comfortable either, the pillows were very firm. The UHT milk had gone off, which I assume was due to the heat.
We were hoping to use this place regularly as family live close but sadly wouldn’t stay here again.
Shower room was nice.
The room i was in 10, opposite woodies bar had zero touches about it. It was a very blank and none exsistant room. One bed in the corner, nothing on the walls, dull decor and terrible pillows. Considering its a lodged area, not even a fridge in the room.
Very clean, comfortable and a very nice place to stay!

No brekkie s had to leave early, in room teaaking facilities and kettle and sufficed to make instant porridge, however large fish n chips was LARGE and well cooked.staff were friendly and has to be one of the cleanest rooms I have stayed in .beds were like new, no dips or saga in mattress.. bathroom was brilliant, walk in wet room style, again clean and warm.grounds are expansive and safe for youngsters ,was very peaceful.
Log burner in pub was amazing, I want one!!!
Walls between rooms are quite thin so could hear half of chap in room next door phone convo with someone.
Given it is timber construction prob no surprise in hindsight however courteous neighbours no prob, may be a nuisance if others renting are of an ilk not to be aware of noise.
My photo of food too blurred but hopefully gives an idea 🤣
