Will not be returning!
Pros:

Stunning setting and lovely walks! Upon arrival, receptionist very friendly and informative. Room very clean. No hair dryer? Didn’t matter for me, as I had my own. 2 other guests knocked on my door to borrow my hairdryer?

Cons:

What ruined my experience was turning up for dinner at 6:15pm, to be told that the kitchen was too busy and no further bookings were being taken that evening?!?!?! You are running a holiday park? Or not, as the case may be?! I was forced to rush to the next village convenience store and buy a sandwich for dinner?! I have cataracts and can’t drive in the dark, so couldn’t even enjoy a dinner at a local pub. Other people were complaining as I returned. As for the officious Restaurant Manager that walked around saying “sorry ma’am” repeatedly. You should not be taking on party bookings if you do not have the infrastructure and resources to accommodate your resident guests?!

Used Woodland Waters as a base for an event at RAF College Cranwell, very conveniet location
Pros:

Room clean - bathroom excellent (wet room). Tea & Coffee supplied.

Cons:

Bed was a bit lumpy but otherwise OK

Absolutely favourite. Especially lodges. We always come to woodland whenever it is available as in the summer it gets booked up fast. That tells you how great this place is

Great setting but facilities lacking and housekeeping could be improved

Fabulous setting

Cons:

Lodge was nice but very basic, only one pillow per person, no shelf space in bathroom, sofa most uncomfortable. Housekeeping needs improvement, cobwebs in corners, we found a baby’s dummy behind the bedroom door. The exterior was quite dirty and in need of a good clean, cobwebs everywhere. We reported this a few years ago but saddened to see that it hasn’t improved. It’s sad that the campsite doesn’t have any breakfast facilities or shop onsite, cafe doesn’t open until 11am such a shame.
