Economical stay near DED airport
Pros:

The staff is very helpful, Mr Sandip helped us arrange a taxi to go around.
The restaurant is ready to adopt your suggestions.
It's very near to Dehradun airport.

Cons:

Bathrooms need an upgrade. This property can do very well with just a few changes.

The stay was nice
Pros:

I enjoyed my stay overall. The staff at the hotel was very friendly and helpful. However, the restaurant staff didn’t speak English very well, which made ordering difficult. Also, the surrounding area was quite noisy.

unexpectedly nice hotel
Pros:

the hotel was unexpectedly comfortable, not perfect, but quite good. The price was also good. We only stayed at this hotel because the Dehradun airport is so far from Dehradun city and we had an early flight. Our expectations were quite low.

Cons:

no shampoo in the dispenser in the shower, a definite shortage of toilet paper, and the person at the reception seemed to have forgotten to order a taxi for us

Makes me feel nostalgic about the Shivalik hills with their luxuriant greenery.
Pros:

The breakfast had a wide spread of options and the food preparation was reasonably good. The location of the hotel is well-placed between the Mall Road and the winding path to Landour ; it gives the feeling of being in the very midst of the hill-station.

Cons:

Since the repair/renovation work in the hotel was underway, it sometimes disturbed the otherwise tranquil atmosphere of the hotel ; during my first stay there a couple of years ago the place seemed like a pastoral sanctuary. But I understand the necessity of the repair/renovation work and am not complaining about it ; far from it, since such work will enhance the quality of the experience guests have there in the future. Please get grilles fixed on the windows opening to the corridors as I had to encounter monkeys roaming inside.
