Pros:

Very good location for my purposes. The hotel is in a lovely setting and is a proper old castle. The staff were very friendly. Breakfast was super. Table was set with lovely food, fruit and a candle. Overall, great value for money.

Cons:

Just a shame there is no restaurant or bar to enjoy in the evening. It is just a B&B in that sense.

Zeer welkom gevoeld!
Pros:

De vriendelijkheid (!) en de flexibiliteit vond ik buitengewoon. Ik moest twee keer vroeg in de ochtend weg, en er werd geregeld dat ik toch goed kon ontbijten. Superfijn!

A castle in the woods proximal to a busy city
Pros:

A real castle stay with antiquness in the middle of the woods, yet cozy and warm. High cealings, comfy beds, Great for a comfortable but proximal getaway. Fantastic sunroom- library with a view on the lake with ducks and the woods. Breakfast was also good, but if I have had it more then two days would become boring. Staff was friendly and loyal, especially Kasper and Yulia

A small area for and improvement would be a bath renovation. Our room lacked a desk table, but as soon as I mentioned, they brought one

Fantastisch!
Pros:

Heerlijk ontbijt in een prachtige ruimte.
Omdat we in het koetshuis hadden geslapen kregen we 's ochtends nog een tour door het kasteel! Geweldig!

Cons:

We hebben op de kamer nog naar extra kussens gezocht....was niet zo belangrijk maar hadden we niet gevonden, als we gevraagd hadden, hadden we die zeker gekregen.....

Prachtig kasteel! Mooie kamer met uitzicht op de achtertuin en vijver en heerlijk ontbijt. Zeer vriendelijke ontvangst.

Cons:

Wij waren er in februari en voor diner moet je t kasteel toch even verlaten. Wij zijn naar Bennekom gegaan. Met Uber ben je daar in 5 minuten.

Comfortabel, sfeervol verblijf met weids uitzicht.
Pros:

Het bed en kussen lag echt goed. Ik had het kussen zo willen overkopen en meenemen. De aankleding en sfeer was mooi, evenals het uitzicht over het landgoed. Het ontbijt was vers, gevarieerd, smaakvol en meer dan genoeg. Verrassend en luxe om aan te komen bij een gedekte tafel voor twee i.p.v. langs het buffet te moeten.

Cons:

In de slaap- en badkamer was het handig geweest wat meer haakjes of ophangmogelijkheden te hebben voor kleding en handdoeken. De lampjes bij het bed zouden wat ons betreft wat doffer mogen i.h.k.v. slaapbevordering.
De rugleuningen van de stoelen in de eetzaal bieden weinig steun aan lange mensen met rugklachten. Dit geldt ook voor de instaphoogte van het bed.

Ik kom zeker nog eens terug :)
Pros:

Ik vond dat je erg warm werd ontvangen daar het personeel. Ze liepen ook netjes mee naar mijn kamer. Het ontbijt was erg lekker vooral de lekkere verse knapperige broodjes. De omgeving was prachtig en rustig.

Cons:

Op zondag is er in het bijgebouw waar ook kamers zijn een interactieve kerkdienst. Dit hoor je ook goed in je kamer. Als je wilt uitslapen dan had dat niet gekund (voor mij geen enkel probleem) wel misschien handig om te weten. Wellicht ook om verspilling van het ontbijt tegen te gaan gasten de broodjes en beleg op voorhand laten uitkiezen met optie om evt meer te krijgen. Zo hoeft er denk ik minder weggegooid te worden. Was wel heel erg lekker en een goed vers ontbijtje!

Geweldig met de charme van een oud gebouw
Pros:

Welkomst was erg, warm en bij ontbijt werden we heel lief geholpen door de dame van ontbijt.

Daarna hebben we nog heerlijk in de serre een kopje koffie gedronken. Wij waren meer dan tevreden.
