The Hotel was centrally located,the allocated parking worked well, we wanted a quiet few days away and it suited our needs.
Although the room was spacious , the dust around the bedhead was quite considerable and although we appreciate its an old building this was not new.
The room door returns that ensure the room door closed were very strong and if you didn't realise it made a loud bang each time other room doors closes. A necessary evil maybe but it was quite noticeable within our room, so it disturbed the peace 🙄

The room 104 was a suite comfortable although cold due to radiator being on timer No drawers to put clothes in Bathroom excellent apart from no shelves to put toilet bags on

Very friendly and welcoming staff. Location was perfect for walking around and exploring Grasmere. Having breakfast in the terrace area overlooking the river, was very peaceful and complimentary scones and hot drinks were a great bonus! Would definitely return!!

Very nice hotel, lovely conservatory to sit in when have the cream tea just started, there was a small outdoor area behind kitchen area, enough for 2, starts doing cooked breakfast which was a bonus. Complimenty Tea and coffee from 3-6

Beautiful hotel, Great location our room was right next to the river which was a really nice touch and the room was stunning, The staff were fantastic, If we were to stay in grasmere again we would definitely stay there again.
