2 night stay
Pros:

Location is excellent in the centre of Grasmere. Warmly welcomed by the hostess on arrival. Very comfortable spot and had everything I needed. I was travelling on my own staying in a room double room, I think the room might be a little small for 2 people (but perfectly manageable). Nice breakfast and coffee and scones

Cons:

There was nothing I didnt like. 1 point to note is that they don't serve evening meals in the hotel but they canl order a delivery for you

Pros:

What a charming hotel this is!!! It felt super homey. The rooms were spacious, the staff were lovely and you’re smack bam in the centre of Grasmere. It sits only the rover so you can sit on the balcony overlooking the river which is super peaceful with a cup of tea. They also had complimentary cream tea every afternoon with some of the best scones I’ve ever had!!! Definitely recommend

Cons:

It didn’t have a fitness centre but it was no biggie :)

Nice location for weekend break
Pros:

Great location and spotlessly clean. Complimentary scones and cream, tea, coffee. Comfortable bed and lovely shower.

Cons:

Even allowing for this being the Lake District and a Bank Holiday weekend the price was a bit expensive. Full English breakfast nicely cooked but a bit "skinny" for a country house type hotel too!
