Beautiful hotel in a lovely area. The king sized bed was really comfortable and the room spacious and modern, with a lovely view overlooking the garden. Staff were really friendly and attentive - they even dug around for a fan as it was super hot in the room during our stay mid heatwave. Breakfast was excellent and the complimentary scones were fab as an afternoon bite.

Perfect location just as you come into Grasmere. The whole hotel was spotless and the staff extremely friendly and professional. Nothing was too much trouble. Even a late evening last minute takeaway pizza order was delivered in 15 minutes. Great for parking and the grounds were well kept with plenty of seating.

The location of this hotel in grassmere is absolutely fantastic. Right in the centre with a lovely garden to sit in and feel so relaxed.
The staff are fantastic and made our stay really enjoyable. The room was beautiful and large enough to feel at home.

Lovely friendly and helpful staff - delicious scones and tea on offer every day
I think the breakfast could be improved. Staff did their very best to make it good and the food tasted nice but there was not much choice or flexibility with cooked food and I thought for the price of the hotel, it would be good not to have to make our own tea with kettle and tea bag in a cup. I would have liked a pot brought to the table. They were understaffed in general with only one cook.
The location was perfect. It was very quiet and peaceful. The staff were friendly.
Our room was essentially an attic conversion. I banged my head 4 times on the first day. I had to stay in the center of room in order to lift my head.
Très bon séjour de 3 nuits dans cet établissement posé dans la joli village de Grasmere. Chambre très confortable (lit de très bonne taille !!). Excellent petit déjeuner.
Le personnel est parfait et cherche à vous mettre à l’aise. C’est très agréable.
L’accès à la piscine d’un établissement partenaire à proximité est très appréciable.
Jolie Salle de bain (chambre 206) mais bien trop petite si vous êtes grands (les toilettes sont vraiment coincées entre le mur et le lavabo).
Enfin même en faisant un effort les portes des chambres ne peuvent se fermer sans faire beaucoup de bruit. Vous êtes donc réveillés quand les premiers clients vont prendre leur petit déjeuner. Excellent pour partir en ballade de bonheur moins si vous voulez prendre un peu votre temps. C’est dommage.
