De kamer was schoon en ruim, personeel heel erg vriendelijk en het ontbijt erg goed verzorgd. De bus naar Edinburgh stopt op 300 meter lopen van de ingang.

My husband and I spent the night here as a stop for another destination. And because it was in close proximity and had free parking spaces, we opted to stay. Initially booked it as a standard stopover, but we ended up being suprised and thoroughly pleased with our stay.
Such a wonderful gem of a place!

First off, we liked that there were options ro check in remotely, and online because we were travelling straight from work. Second, along with the ease of remote check-in, we had the opportunity to notify the property of our ETA online too, taking into consideration traffic and road works that we passed along the way. These have been lifesavers for us!

When we got to the property, there were plenty of parking spaces and despite the late check-in (about 11pm), we were greeted by the receptionist warmly and was very accommodating and helpful (- this was such a nice relief coming from a long day at work followed by an almost 3- hour drive!).

During our stay, we were assigned room 19.
It was spacious, and impeccably clean all throughout.
The bed was comfortable, airconditioning super amazing (best sleep ever), and the bathroom was spotless.
Like usual hotel rooms, it had most of the amenities expected: coffee/tea station, clothes rack and hangers, hair dryer, television, desk, armchair and toiletries.
It was beautifully and contemporarily designed, making our short overnight stay absolutely comfortable.

Breakfast was served in the pub to the side of the property, and it had a quaint and cosy vibe. We were greeted by friendly staff that ushered us to our table and explained the mechanics of their breakfast system.
The drinks station was completely self-serve, so you could help yourself to as much coffee, tea, and juice.
They handed us menu cards with breakfast staples to choose from that were freshly made to order.

My husband and I both chose the full english, and it was delicious!

Shame that we only had to stay overnight, because we had a really comfortable...

Excellent location to catch bus into Edinburgh.
Lovely pub next door with Excellent food.
Hotel was very clean and rooms was nice

Camera pulita e persona gentilissimo, inoltre il ristorante dell’hotel era davvero buono. Lo consiglio!

Nos gustó todo: el personal fue muy amable, la habitación grande con una cama muy cómoda y el baño limpio y estupendo. Aunque estuviera en las afueras, en seguida por prácticamente una libra llegabas al centro de Edimburgo en 40-50 minutos. Buen precio comparado con los hoteles del centro. Además podías desayunar/cenar en la taberna de al lado por un precio adicional. Si vuelvo a Edimburgo me volvería a alojar aquí!!
