Great service and staff are brilliant. Nothing is too much trouble and a very relaxing atmosphere. Lovely food with a great choice at breakfast and dinner
The bedding is heavy and we would prefer a nice light duvet. Everything else was perfect.
Whilst a bit old fashioned , I missed the air conditioning in rooms. But the fans supplied worked. We have had extreme weathers though.
Just not having air condition in room and a pool would have been nice.
Reception, concierge and other team members couldn’t be more helpful
Breakfast good, staff helpful, very clean.
Room for a twin bedroom was very cramped, not like picture shown on your site.
On arriving beds were made apart but not pushed apart, which would mean I you would still disturb my husband. We told the staff we were not happy and they kindly pushed them apart which made the room even more cramped.
Friendly welcome on arrival. Help with luggage then valet parking for car. Subsequently discovered car had been parked under cover as it is a cabriolet with a fabric roof so no seagull dropping damage - exceptional! Room good size - bathroom absolutely immaculate - no stains on grouting or floor - superb. Good lift - very quick service. Sea view but on 3rd floor so looking through small windows rather than bay windows lower down but no issue. Bed comfortable and full tea making facilities. Breakfast very good and dinner too. Pleasant staff and good food. Good bar and many places to sit and relax including seats with umbrellas outside front of hotel where food and drinks can be served. Seagulls can be noisy and troublesome. Great location, very close to town and beach and in addition main bus stop just 3min walk away in the Triangle, for Beer, Seaton etc!
Really only feature we didn't like was no air conditioning in the bedroom. Bar was covered but the room was stifling, sun full on each morning even with curtains closed. Resulted in disturbed and most uncomfortable sleep. I realise cost to install may be prohibitive but will be a deciding factor when we consider a return visit especially as we enjoy air conditioning at home, including our main bedroom.
The staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly.
The room was bright and cheerful with a spacious bathroom. My bed was lovely and soft which suited me.
Location, brilliant staff
Dinner service was late for us, vegetables hard, beef tough, breakfast was fine apart from fried bread which was very overdone like concrete
Pleasant staff eager to please. Rooms spotless
Too hot with very heavy top quilts. Bathroom extremely warm even with front and back windows open. We had to change rooms for the last night room was a lot smaller to move about in. Very comfortable just smaller than travelodge size. 1st room brilliant apart from the heat 2nd room on the small side.
Very friendly, helpful staff. Had a lift. Hotel was very close to the beach.
Nice food but quite expensive.
Absolutely nothing. It was listed under disabled facilities on booking.com with lift to all floors. The ramp into hotel was inadequate. The lift only took one person standing.
The attitude of the receptionist was abysmal.
We were told that even the room had steps to the bathroom. She was rude and patronising and we felt like third class citizens. We have complained to the hotel and Booking.com and have been ignored. We couldn’t stay and were so upset I drove us home.
It was very close the sea abd the shops.
Very nice sea front location, the restaurant was superb, an excellent chef. Different selection of dishes each night, definitely fine dining.
