Lovely space to stay
Pros:

The accommodation was ideal for me to do the parkrun in Offenthal. The hotel itself is a lovely traditional venue. The room was clean and comfortable with a lovely hot shower. I wasn't originally booked in for breakfast but when I arrived to the breakfast room at 7:30am I was accommodated with a nice continental breakfast plus some freshly made scrambled eggs and fresh baked bread rolls also. The host was very friendly and accommodating and I would stay here again.

Cons:

There was nothing to dislike from my experience of the one night stay I had.

A comfortable stay made even better by the kind and friendly hospitality of Frau Kachabia.
Pros:

We chose this hotel for its convenient location near the Offenthal parkrun. The proprietess waited up socially for our delayed arrival, which was most welcome. She was very friendly and helpful, provided a nice breakfast, and very helpfully raided the medicine cabinet to help me after I accidentally fell over doing the parkrun. Her recommendation for dinner was excellent and much appreciated. Ample free on site parking was a bonus.

Cons:

In room hot drink making facilities would have been appreciated, but water and "good night" chocolates were provided.

Gute Unterkunft in ländlicher Umgebung
Pros:

Die Lage war gut und einfach zu finden. Das Zimmer war groß genug, sauber und ruhig mit Blick zum Garten. Wir haben sehr gut geschlafen.

Cons:

Leider waren wir uns nicht darüber bewusst, dass am Wochenende Frühstück anscheinend nur nach vorheriger Absprache angeboten wird. Somit mussten wir uns leider ohne Kaffee wieder auf den Weg machen. Ein deutlicher Hinweis darauf wäre vielleicht nicht schlecht.

Pros:

Ich habe ohne Frühstück gebucht.Aber ich kenne den gemütlichen Frühstücksraum von früher.Das Haus ist gemütlich eingerichtet .
Zwar eine Durchgangsstrasse aber mit 30km Begrenzung.Die Inhaber sind freundlich und aufgeschlossen.Prospekte für Ausflüge und Restaurants stehen zur Verfügung.Wer sich für Natur und Geschichte interessiert sollte unbedingt die Grube Messel besuchen,mit ihren versteinerten Ausgrabungen
