Location adequate, bus connections good
The total price could have included breakfast , entertainment, would have been welcome on a Saturday evening , no out side sitting area near the bar
I have been going to the Durrant House spa for many months and have been really impressed with Richelle's professional behaviour and skill. My nails are prepped carefully so the gel polish lasts 3+ weeks. I would definitely recommend Richelle.
It was not far from the beach
The kids park was not clean there was broken trees everywhere

We had a very enjoyable stay. We stay here regularly and we enjoyed the outdoor swimming pool for the first time, it was idyllic, warm and exceptionally clean. Our room was a good size with a sofa and a large dressing table/desk area. The room had an ensuite bath. The food was delicious and reasonably priced with a good choice.
Great location for exploring Appledore and Westward Ho! Hotel is a bit dated but quirky in a good way. Service was a little shaky, reception staff were excellent and once we got to know the bar person the service there was okay. Our last morning breakfast was spent listening to the waitress moaning about having to work! We loved the outdoor pool, had a great couple of treatments with the lovely Richelle in the R&R Spa and the food was nice. We booked a room with a giant jacuzzi bath which was a real treat. Overall pros outweigh the cons and we’ll be back.
