Family of 11, really well catered to, quick service for food. Absolutely amazing food, the whole family loved it. Michelle was a lovely server, thank you. Will be visiting here again.
We stayed at the durrent for a night ( me and my partner ) we had a amazing time staff was very welcoming especially Michelle she had bright red hair she couldn't do enough for us making us feel so welcomed and comfortable really smiley and friendly im currently pregnant and she went above and beyond to simple things like just making sure I got just as I wanted for breakfast beans on toast lol food was lovely so thank you so much Michelle / red for making our stay perfect we will see you again soon as we will definitely be back

Breakfast was standard fare and what you would expect from a 3 star accommodation.
Hotel staff were very accommodating and friendly. Evening meal was freshly cooked and fairly priced.
Which reflects my overall experience as being a top 3 star hotel and excellent value for money.

We have stayed at the Durrant House Hotel previously and love it. There is a wonderful ambience as soon as you enter the building, a little old fashioned but well kept, and the restaurant is something to behold. There staff are all efficient and friendly and really go out of their way to make the stay enjoyable. The food is first class, the rooms are a decent size , warm and kept perfectly clean. There is a lift for those unable to use the stairs, parking is enough to cope and the hotel is only 20 minutes walk into Bideford. It is also on a regular bus route which can take you to Appledore, Westward Ho!, Bideford and beyond. We will definitely return and can highly recommend the Durrant.

The cooked breakfast was good cooked to order was hot and fresh cold buffet was minimal but ok
The hotel is in desperate need of a renovation or lick of paint and a good scrub in all areas of the hotel it was dirty and everything felt grubby the bed was small and bedding was thread bare the room was boiling hot and didn’t even have the heating on so we left the windows open all night
I loved the quiet and quirky hotel, rooms were a good size and the staff were lovely especially Anthony who delivered great service with a smile and a laugh. Place was clean and loads of parking.
Nothing, the fan was a little noisy in our room but wee were moved to a different room. We could see someone fixing the fan an hour later. Brilliant

I stayed here for mother's day with my daughter after seeing their offer on Facebook and we had such a lovely time. The atmosphere was warm and relaxing, which made it a perfect little getaway for us to spend some quality time together.
The staff were very welcoming and attentive, and they made the stay feel extra special. The room was comfortable and clean, snd we really enjoyed the peaceful environment.
It was a beautiful way to celebrate mother's day together and create a sweet memory . I would definitely recommend it for a relaxing stay with family.
Our recent visit to durrant house mon to fri was very nice staff were very nice and the hotel was very clean also breakfast and our main meal very nice
