One night was enough. I've stayed in far better hotels that cost less.
Pros:

The hotel is in a good location, very close to the town centre. The bus/train station and Isles of Scilly ferry are within walking distance

Cons:

This is an extremely mediocre hotel. This hotel needs a refurbishment to bring it into the 21st century.

Such comfortable beds.
Pros:

We like going to the theatre nearby and the hotel is so convenient for an overnight stay without the stress of trying to return home late at night. The hotel is only a 2-3 minute walk to the theatre. The twin room was clean and very comfortable, super comfy beds, enough covers to keep warm. Towels provided, a modern attractive shower room and toilet, everything provided, shower soap and shampoo. Coffee and tea provided in the room. Usual English breakfast provided in the total cost for the stay and set on beautiful laid tables, with white cloths, silver cutlery, and also help yourself area breakfast buffet. Hotel staff were friendly and especially helpful in opening the windows for us.

Cons:

The framed drawings (art) in the room was rather risque, we were presented with bums and full frontal naked women and their muffs, right in our face. We do appreciate art of course, and although the room was clean and very comfortable and excellent in every respect, it may have been more suitable in terms of amusement for men, or a woman entertaining a man. Certainly a subject for conversation and a laugh..... Fortunately we went out, and or otherwise went to sleep for the night once we returned, so didn't have to spend too long looking at the ladies showcasing their specific areas. It was different.

Good Hotel, Centrally Located.
Pros:

Location wise property is centrally located and walkable to Bus and Train station and also, we can walk to Michel Mount too easily. Breakfast dont have much of options. Rooms are good.

Cons:

Breakfast would have been better, especially for Vegetarian. Very limited options. But the Staff Mac was good enough to help us.

WE had a lovely view

Cons:

The cleanliness of the toiler in particular was worse than poor. The sash window cords were broken therefore needed to be propped open for ventilation. More importantly, the window when opened would not comply with Building Regulations and were extreemly dangerous.

Safe, central, comfortable, clean and tidy.
Pros:

The location is excellent for theatres, cinemas and historic pubs. It also has a first come first served parking garage. Nice pub attached to the hotel often with live music. Matt on reception, nothing was too much trouble!

Cons:

The rooms are a little tired but this is a very old historic building and is gradually being improved.

Le bâtiment est superbe mais mériterait d'être mieux entretenu. Problème aussi dans la gestion (double facturation, gros retard pour l'ouverture du breakfast le matin).

I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.
Pros:

The bed was good and I slept well. The bar and bar service was good. The location was a ten minutes walk from the train station.i

Cons:

I had Room 29 on the second floor. The light over the sink was not working and there was no nob on the pull cord. No hot water ever came in the sink. The extractor fan was very noisy and vibrated when on. There was no nob on the pull cord to the light switch over the bed. The toilet cistern filling never stopped. No lift.
There was never anyone in reception or about to discuss the problems.
Re breakfasts :- the bread was the cheapest possible, no fruit, they got my breakfast wrong two mornings and on Sunday morning the wait was excessive. The waitress said they had a training cook on duty.

Zeer teleurstellend en geen vier sterren waardig. Meer NUL.

niets. het enige voordeel was de locatie.

Cons:

Er zat schimmel in de badkamer en het bad en de badrand. Er lag een vuile handschoen in het bad. We waren er drie nachten en geen enkele keer is de kamer gedaan. Geen bedden opgemaakt, badkamer niet gedaan, geen schone handdoeken, etc. Kortom geen enkele service.
Het bed was oud en slecht en de vloerbedekking was vuil.
