Clean but dated 2 star hotel.
Pros:

A two star hotel that was cleat, albeit very dated. Central location. It's a 2 star hotel which was rather cheap and our expectations were low.

Cons:

We had no toilet paper in our room (but to be fair we didn't go back down to reception). We found the interior design not to our taste.
It was functional but we are unlikely to return.

Great Place to stay for a few days before boarding the ferry.
Pros:

Everything. Lots of hot water with good pressure. Even in the sink which is unusual in VN. A/C was strong and quiet. Bed was comfortable with nice clean sheets. Nice part of town where you could walk to many places. Only a 27000 Dong Grab Car ride to the Ferry Terminal. A quiet jem.

Cons:

There was nothing to dislike. The owner was kind and did his best with the limited English which is much better than my Vietnamese.

Good to stop on way from phu quoc to Saigon
Pros:

Clean, good value for money, very close to bus station, super easy to book bus to Saigon and walk to catch bus

Good location, good hotel and even better...room rate.
Pros:

Good location near markets, eateries, cafes. Clean, quite spacious room with plenty of solid, timber furniture, wardrobe, ok bed, bathroom (but always water on the floor), quiet cool A/C and Fan, Minibar, good WiFi signal.

Cons:

No credit cards accepted, cash only. TV with quite a few channels but not much in English. Window with a view of a wall half a metre away. Shower enclosure with missing door and no soap holder. Friendly, funny boys at the Reception but.... travelling in Vietnam for 2 months and for the first time Reception couldn't or didn't want to, reserve a Futa bus ticket to my next destination. In fact they offered to bring me to the bus station by motorbike...for a fee. So I booked, even not knowing Vietnamese, myself, online. Disappointed with the staff.
