Pros:

Прекрасный хозяин. Чистый номер. Светлый.Есть горячая вода. Пешеходные прогулки нас не пугают. Завтраки простые

Cons:

Рядом церковь, в субботу началась служба в 5 утра, очень громко. Рекомендую иметь беруши

Nice clean guest house with beautiful terrace
Pros:

Located in a quieter residential area, Our stay here was short but the rooms were neat and clean and comfortable, staff were very accommodating of our early morning arrival, we had a nice breakfast on the terrace and neat bathroom and hot water in the shower, Would stay here again

La terraza para desayunar. La zona tranquila, pero cerca del centro.

Cons:

Hay escalera de acceso y 3 plantas. No está indicado.
Faltaría un poco de decoración.
El precio de los tours que ofrecen es muy alto. Hay que pagar guía y conductor aparte. Igual precio para una persona que para 3. A partir de 4 aún esmás caro!! Siendo el lismo guía, conductor y coche. No es lógico! Creo que los precios son parecidos en la zona.

Pros:

De kamer was ruim, heerlijke warme douche. Het ontbijt buiten was prima; elke dag net een andere touch.

Cons:

De ligging is niet optimaal, maar je wandelt toch zo naar het centrum (10 min lopen)

Pros:

Sehr schönes guest house, sauber, ruhige Lage, schöner Balkon und Terrasse. Gutes Frühstück. Wir haben mit dem Besitzer eine 2tägige Tour gemacht, viele schöne Dörfer, Gräber und eine Begräbnis Zeremonie gesehen. Yuli hat sehr viel erklärt über die Kultur der Toraja. Er spricht Englisch und Französisch. Sehr empfehlenswert!

Exceptional
Pros:

The hosts are wonderful, so helpfu to organise guided trips(very professional)l, a driver, a motorbike or a bus trip to Makassar. Breakfasts very tasty and different every day. The rooms are clean, most with the view on the mountains Perfect view from the rooftop on Rampetao and the area. Really nice place and owners.

Pros:

Clean big rooms, towels, very good breakfast. Good communication and nice people. 10min walk to the center. Nice terraces as well.

Cons:

The noice of the dogs, roosters and church (4.30am to 5.15am). But I think it's everywhere like that in Rantepao so nothing the hotel can do about.

Too far
Pros:

Breakfast is good: omelette, small pancakes, toast, jelly, coffee and tea.
We booked 3 nights but couldn't arrive on the first day. The staff was very kind to shift our booking by one day without an extra charge.

Cons:

Location is far and drivers don't know where it is. You have to show them the way with google maps on your phone. They charge between 20 and 30 IDR.
We booked a driver and a guide from the hotel. The guide was a Toraja but didn't tell us much beyond what you can read in a couple of pages on Wikipedia. The driver wasn't great either.
Wifi didn't work well and was not usable much of the time because there was no access point on our floor.
We asked the hotel for a ride to the bus station and they wanted 100 IDR. As soon as we said something they dropped to 50 IDR.

Amazing!
Pros:

Very nice staff! The first day I arrived, they already booked me a guide, so I could do a tour the next day. I took the evening bus, but I was aloud to stay at the hotel all day, and they even dropped me at the bus station! The room itself was very clean, the room is cleaned every day. Breakfast was good. Location very good, less than five minutes from the Main Street of Rantepao by tuktuk. The building itself is very high, which gives an amazing view of the city.
