The aesthetic of the place was pleasant, the provided breakfast food was delicious, free morning Yoga was a huge plus. All the staff was super helpful and attentive. the beach was literally a block away!!

Casa Botanica transports you to the rainforest of Puerto Rico while in an urban setting with the restaurants, shops, and beaches of San Juan nearby. The themed rooms are impeccable as are the vibes and daily breakfast.
Navigating the narrow spiral staircase with our luggage was a challenge but also added to the charm.
Fabulous Bali Boho atmosphere! Very charming with all the plants and lights. You really feel transported! The coffee, teas and breakfast were exceptional! Staff is helpful and friendly.
Just know the bathrooms are basic (but the body soap is divine!)
It is a pleasant and peaceful place. The bed was really comfortable.
I had issues with their service. They mentioned that there would be staff on-site until 4 p.m. I arrived at 3:48 p.m., but nobody answered the door. They had sent me the door access code, but my phone battery was dead. I had to wait for an hour until a guest was leaving and opened the door for me.
I don’t think they offer good value for money. The breakfast was tasty, but the portion was small.

The position of the bed in the room was awkward.
The outdoor shower was magical, the breakfast was yummy and I loved starting the day with morning yoga!
I had to get used to the mosquito bites but that was me not being prepared!

The location was close to the beach and the staff was nice.
The ad for the location is very deceitful. I filtered out location that had breakfast and parking. This place DOES NOT have parking or even street parking in front. they tell you, you can usually find parking around the block. Even though the ad says this "Comfortable Amenities: Each room features a kitchenette, private bathroom, and modern amenities such as a mini-bar and microwave. Additional facilities include an outdoor seating area, bicycle parking, and free parking." The free parking is street parking every hotel in the area can put they have parking if street parking is the standard. The private bathroom is even a lie the room I stood in had a toilet but the sink and shower were located outside of the room. So there were stairs that led to my area there is a little area to eat the sink with a little fridge and microwave and the shower. All these things I mention are outside of the room. So anyone can go up those stairs and see you brushing your teeth, eating and even showering there not even a curtain for the shower your just exposed on one side that someone coming up the stairs can see. Then inside the room is the bed and in a tiny separate room for the toilet. So if you have to use the bathroom at night, you use the toilet inside the room then you have to go outside and wash your hands. Breakfast is vegan, I wish it was mentioned but its not a lie so I can't complain. But lets say you like this outdoors theme and you love vegan food and drinks. I still cant recommend this place. Behind this hotel there is Bar that appears to be open from Thurs - Sunday and the music will keep you up. Its so loud then the base will shake your room. We had to put white noise next to our pillows to try and drown it out. The place has potential it looks great in pictures, the room is small but nice, but I don't understand why there is just no door a the top of the steps for peace of mind while showering.
Gorgeous decoration throughout the property. The glass house with the outdoor shower was magical. Breakfast was delicious.
