Central location
This was by far one of the worst hotel experiences we’ve ever had. From day one, we were treated poorly and unfairly. Even though we had entered our card details online to secure the reservation, they still demanded full payment on arrival — and even worse, they added a 5% commission fee if we paid by card. This felt like a scam, just so the hotel owner could pocket more money.
We paid the majority of the amount upfront (39,000 lek, around €400), leaving just €5 to pay. But it was impossible to settle the balance, as there was never anyone at reception — the receptionist was always hanging out at the café across the street instead of doing his job. One day, we finally found a woman at reception and paid the remaining amount.
Then on check-out day, they suddenly claimed we still owed €55 — despite having already paid €400! We explained the situation, but the woman insisted and even called the owner, who yelled at us on the phone. He was extremely rude, telling us to just pay and leave a negative review later, because he “didn’t care” and had “plenty of other businesses” and that “€50 doesn’t change his life.” Completely unprofessional.
In the end, we were forced to pay €57.75 — and not a word of apology.
As for the room:
• The mirror was broken
• The clothes drying rack was broken
• There was no lukewarm water — only boiling hot or freezing cold
• Water pressure was terrible
• No basic maintenance or care at all
To make things worse, the hotel also has a currency exchange office. When we asked to convert our leftover lek into euros, the woman at the desk (same as the receptionist) tried to scam us out of €1, even though the printed receipt clearly showed what she owed us. We had to argue just to get our money back.
This place is a complete rip-off, run by dishonest and rude people with absolutely no sense of hospitality or customer service. Avoid at all costs.
The fantastic Panoramic view looking over Salande Bay,was awesome. The breakfast was delicoous,and the lady in the restaurant,( same lady who made our room up) was a beautiful lady. The room was fantastic,at a great price,considering breakfast was included. I fully recomend anyone to stay at this outstanding Hotel. You will be amaized im shure. The room was clean,nice pipping hot shower, tv,fridge, big double bed, marble floor. This same beautiful lady made up our room,each day at 10am. I give that hotel 10 out of 10. First time ive done that,and ive travelled to 89 countries. Bless you,lovely lady.
There really isn' t nothing to dislike about this hotel. Only one thing. The guys working in reception could do with a coarse in PR. Although i do understand that most Albanians don't speak English. But they could be a bit more friendlier. I do understand they multi skill and are running the money changer as well, in the winter.
Very central in Sarande. Can walk to everywhere. Parking out the front. Breakfast simple but good.

Hyvä palvelu, edullinen, siisti ja tilava huone. Muista hotelleista poiketen täällä oli tavallinen peitto eikä vain ohut lakana tai viltti. Aamupala kohtuullinen. Lämpimiä ruokia siellä ei ollut, valikoima pieni mutta riittävä. Lämmin vesi suihkussa ja toimiva ilmastointi. Kiva näköala.
