Good seating area, outside good location to get out and about
No milk for coffee in room, bedroom small, dark, linen and towels need updating.bathroom very small sink useless,, shower very small with the usual noisey fan.basic bar food, first morning for breakfast the lad doing it was chilled out and very efficient, everything you wanted was there, second morning, he wasn't doing breakfast so coffee machine not working properly, breakfast bar no milk, or butter , ran out of bread eventually all sorted you just had to keep asking. Although the pub is dog friendly at breakfast dogs everywhere a bit much.
We could not access our room due to a second flight of stairs which was very very steepand would have been a safety risk, and only seeing a one storey high picture on line didn't expect two fights of stairs so had to cancel el
Location and friendly staff
Very steep stairs to room.
Very small room.
Broken blind and window held closed with a nail.
Very hard bed .
Very friendly helpful staff, excellent location, lovely breakfast, characterful building
Room was small and lacked storage
Very little
Poorly decorated and very uncomfortable. I didn't sleep at all
convenient to attractions
bed was uncomfortable, could hear everything next door, doors slamming till early morning. absolutely terrible.
The staff and food were good
The room we had was a lot smaller as the 1 we had the first time for the same price to get to it you had to use a very steep and in my mind dangerous stairway once in the room it had a sloop on the floor from window to door and was that small about 18 inches between my side of the bed and the radiator i got out of bed and hit my head on the telly on the wall
We booked the suite room and it was lovely.
I was locked in the room and had to get someone to help me get out and the breakfast, although nice was served cold.
The staff really made the place. What a fantastic bunch of people! All of them couldn't do enough for us and it was all genuine. True Yorkshire hospitality.
Nothing really. A strong smell of disinfectant in the hallway but I suppose it could smell of worse things.
Would prefer white cotton bed linen and white towels.
Lovely, friendy welcoming staff
Too late for check in. The roo. Was adequate
Staff lovely. Room was nice and big.
Bathroom needed some tlc and shower wasn’t very clean
The staff were the best thing
Stairs were very steep should have been on there website as AOPs found them very difficult to go up and down Outdated rooms could do with a makeover
The breakfast was good and location lovely as 10 mins from Filey beach. Just need ear plugs as church clock chimes every half an hour!
Nothing
Very friendly and helpful staff, great breakfast and great value for money. Lovely comfy room.
Beautiful location, very clean and tidy, staff friendly and helpful 👍 😀.
Room adequate although a bit on the small side.
Takeaway breakfast option came in very handy and was able to get to the meeting point in good time.
Comfortable chair in room
Bed was OK, but a little bit hard for my liking.
Drinks were very good and lovely decking area out of the back of the pub.
Window surround looked a bit dated and could do with a freshen up with paint.
Bathroom sink was very small and was a little awkward to wash in the morning.
Having the Tea making facilities in the corner underneath where you hang your clothes was odd
Convenient location
All good
We had two breakfasts but if I'm being honest the second one was better. I suspect there may have been some sort of staffing issues. Our room was clean and comfortable. On the whole things were fine and all the staff we met were all pleasant and easy to talk with.
A full length mirror would have been a plus.
