Terrible and disappointing

I paid a little more to stay here as a reward for myself as booking told me this was a 4 Star hotel. It was horrible. I’ve seen 1 star structures in better condition, and I’m not exaggerating. I tried staying outside as long as possible in order to spend the least time possible in the room. The rooms are DIRTY (the bedsheets are clean, credit for that). The flooring is lifted, and the washing machines are horrendous. I’ve run the dryer TWICE in a row because once wasn’t enough, and my clothes were still soaked.

Dont expect a lot. The 4-star rating is very deceptive

Good:
-The hotel provides a free shuttle service to JR Shizuoka Station
- The staff's attitude and service were very good; they did a great job (the only reason I didn't give a perfect score for service is that disposable slippers were not provided).

Cons:

Poor:
-This hotel is listed as a 4-star hotel on both booking.com and Google Maps, which I find to be extremely misleading. In my personal opinion, it is a two-star at most; this is very deceptive.
-The room facilities are very old, especially the bathroom, which seems to be some kind of prefabricated modular construction. The bathroom itself is very small and dim.
-The room does not even provide disposable slippers or botteled water.

Neutral:
-Approximately a 15-minute walk from JR Shizuoka Station, which is a moderate distance. However, if you are dragging two suitcases, it is still an arduous journey.

Additionally:
- The positive reviews for this hotel online focus on its food and lounge services, which I did not experience and therefore cannot comment on.
