Exceptional value for money, quiet and clean.
Pros:

We had the Deluxe Suite which was huge, with some views of the ocean. So quiet and peaceful, just across the road from the beach, immaculately clean, bed was ok, AC was great, pool was good, there was pool table and ping-pong table, staff fantastic.

Cons:

Not much around the area except a couple of other hotels, which we were happy with.

Cons:

Pool full of dead leaf and insects.
We came for the bath in room but cannot use it because there is a leak. Staff took the bath plug to avoid us to put water in it.

Okay for a one night stay if you don't surf
Pros:

The room was good for the price you pay. Prices in the restaurant are very reasonable in comparison to other resorts we stayed and the food was tasty.

Cons:

Breakfast was tasty, but too little. Keep in mind that there is not much to do in this area other than surfing.

Fantastiska dagar på West Break
Pros:

Bästa rummet, havsutsikt, lugnt, gott om plats och supertrevlig personal. Dessutom precis vid stranden och i närheten av bra restauranger. Extra stort tack till Boy vår surfinstruktör som bokades via hotellet - bästa instruktören vi haft!

I loved this hotel. The staff is wonderfully helpful, doing it's best to fulfill all. requirements.Breakfast is superb with lots of choice. The rural location is beautiful, if a little waterlogged in the rainy season. It is ideal for surfers and those that love peace and quiet and want to experience real Bali without mass tourism. Local shops and cafes and restaurants are within walking distance. However, hiring a motorbike or a driver if exploring further afield is advisable, although if you dont mind walking several kilometers things like money changing facilities are within reach .
I booked a reasonably local tour to the turtle conservancy and found it well worth it, even releasing 2 young turtles back into the sea.
