My first horrible experience using Booking.Com
Pros:

The foyer leading to the rooms had a beautiful aesthetically pleasing view

Cons:

Everything else was horrible,
- the late check in as the room was not ready
- the wrong room was allocated with three beds instead of 1 double
- the reception swapped with a double room that had an extremely wet carpet, you could not walk without shoes
- developed a skin rash due to the dampness
- the night noise coming from the renovations next door
- lack of designated parking, Street parking with homeless people and a rat-infested neighbourhood
- Old rooms that need urgent renovations to suit the bar, dining and foyer areas

Enjoyable and Comfortable
Pros:

Lovely rooms and the hotel has been very nicely revamped. The staff were friendly and helpful and accommodating. The room are big and very comfortable.

Cons:

It would have been nice to have some onsite dinner options.
