Just re opened after refresh with new management, helpful staff & a good bar, help your self continental breakfast as standard with a optional cooked breakfast on request.
Laura the manager, gave us a very warm welcome. Explaining everything that we needed to know. The continental breakfast was more than adequate. Cooked breakfast was available at a small charge. We had our evening meal here, the menu was quite limited. But the food was well cooked and very tasty. All the staff we met were friendly and most helpful. Decent toiletries and fluffy white towels were supplied.
The tv had limited channels to watch. The hotel is on a surprisingly busy crossroads, for a small town. There was a little road noise but it didn’t affect our nights sleep. The rooms and hotel were a little tired but this is reflected in the cost. Overall very good value. The hotel suited the purpose of our visit and we would make a return stay.
Location was great .
Arrived Sunday night . The bar was very busy and very noisy . The room was right above the bar and the loud music and voices travelled right up through the floor . After a long day travelling that was the last thing we needed . We went to bed at 9.30 but no chance of getting any sleep . At around 11.30 i had had enough . I got out of bed and was getting dressed to go and sleep in my car . Suddenly the music stopped and the pub emptied .
Now i knew that the bar was closed on Monday and Tuesday night so i was looking forward to a good night's sleep . The place was different again Monday night .Lovely and quiet .
Would i stay there again ? I'm not sure . Certainly not on night when the bar is open .I've had quieter nights in Benidorm .
Not something you expect from a nice country B and B
I don't mean to be too harsh as i know that the owners have only been in for 6 months and are still finding their feet . i'm sure it will improve .
Continental....met my needs.
Wi-fi outside immediate property
evening meal very good , staff good
very noisey from pub below till well after midnight , no thought for guests trying to sleep !
not enought milk in fridge for continental breakfast, one couple with child had none
The rooms were clean, bedding clean and comfortable.
Location and breakfast very good, staff very friendly and helpful. Room very nice and comfortable.
Had a meal with relatives in the evening, they looked after the children’s needs well and the food was very good.
Room was over the bar so seemed quite noisy until bar shut but fine after that. Base noise from speakers in bar was a bit irritating.
Location was convenient
Cold room and freezing bathroom
Breakfast - self service but what was there??????
Was amazing experience! Many
thanks Laura for everything 🙏 ❤ 🙌, we'll back again! I strongly recommend this Hotel!
Really good people!! Fantastic location!
Everything...
There was a self-service breakfast set out in the breakfast room. There was a small choice but it was satisfactory. There was a selection of cereals, yogurt, pre-wrapped pasties and bread to make toast.
There was no central heating in the bedrooms despite the negative temperatures outdoors. The room was quite noisy because of poor insulation and we were just above the bar. The day we were there the dinner selection was limited to pizza.
Location was good but you need a car. It was cheap, you get what you pay for.
The beds were not very comfortable and the shower in my room didn't work.
Great stay! Perfect for our needs.

Convenient for the purpose of our trip.
As you would expect for a small village hotel, Small room with a shared bathroom, the bed was fine.
