Absolutely amazing retreat
Pros:

This place is simply amazing. From the staff when we arrived to when we left. Amazing location 2 minute walk from the stunning beach. Megan the owner was amazing we met her on the check out day. Pool perfect and the lighting around the hotel in the evening / night makes a perfect relaxing retreat. Very useful outside shared kitchen / bar area and a fridge.

Great vibe, relaxed
Pros:

We really enjoyed staying at Tribe. The management were very helpful, giving information and booking trips for us.

The hotel and pool were very clean, though the room was a little small with minimal storage space. Suitcase under the bed solved that though. We especially liked the communal kitchen. It was well equipped allowing us to prepare meals when we wanted.

The grounds were well looked after and there was plenty of parking

All in all, we loved it and would come again given the chance

Cons:

Perhaps 'firmer' encouragement towards the few guests unwilling to do their own washing up, would be a good idea.

The repetitive ' chill' music was pointless & didn't enhance the relaxed atmosphere and for me became annoying. Fortunately it was turned off in the evening.

Lovely stay!
Pros:

The property is well located in the middle of the small town, it features a lush green garden with beautiful trees and colorful flowers, birds are everywhere and even spotted an iguana walking around!
I loved the pool, yoga and kitchen areas and everything is clean and cared for. The atmosphere is always chilled, with soft music and birds singing in the background. The lovely owners put lots of care into this place and it is well visible.
Staff extremely friendly, helpful, suggested a great spot for surf rental/lessons and let me enjoy the pool and facilities after checkout time while waiting for my bus.

Cons:

My room was nice and clean, but a little tiny (probably had the budget double). The AC right above the bed was too intense for me at night, even in sleep mode, but as there are no windows to open, it is the only option as it gets very humid and hot at night without it.

Cons:

We would have liked a fridge in our room although there is a communal fridge with means of labelling. Again would have liked coffee making facilities in the room

Everything we expected! Tranquil, comfortable, great vibe, very convenient and lovely all around.
Pros:

Location could not be better. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Anything we needed they helped us with. The kitchen and coffee setup were such a nice way to wake up and not have to rush over to a restaurant and spend more money.

Cons:

There was nothing I did not like. rooms are small but very nice and cozy. Size of the space was not a problem as it was advertised accurately. you don't need more room when you are exploring and the value was there to match. there was enough space and storage/surfaces/hanging spots to be able to manage belongings and make the most efficient use of the small space. If you are staying for more than ~3 nights I would spend more on the bigger room if available.

Wonderful peaceful place! Amazing how quiet despite being right in the middle of town 😎
Pros:

Cute and small. Very peaceful. Great location. Loved the self serve honour bar and shared kitchen. Beautiful property and pool. Location was great.

Cons:

Only issue was the lack of hot water. Not a big deal though…as it’s refreshing.

Pros:

really enjoyed my stay here overall. The vibe of the hotel is comfortable, relaxed, and welcoming right away. The pool area and lounging spaces are especially inviting and make it easy to unwind. The rooms are very cute and nicely decorated, with thoughtful touches like emergency lights and a small honor bar with drinks, which I really appreciated.

The location is excellent, walking distance to everything in Dominical, which made getting around easy and stress free. I also felt safe during my stay, and the other guests were very respectful, which added to the overall experience. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, especially Arthur, who was so kind, attentive, and genuinely welcoming.

Cons:

A couple of small things to note. The blanket in the room felt a bit outdated and could be refreshed for added comfort. The door locks were occasionally a bit challenging to use. Also, while it was stated that there is a security guard at night and a locked gate, it was still fairly easy to access the property, and I didn’t see a security guard one night. This didn’t make me feel unsafe, but it didn’t fully match what was described.

Le lieu parfait pour se détendre
Pros:

Établissement très bien décoré et pensé pour se détendre autour de la piscine : transat, lits, bar. Les chambres sont confortables et on y voit le sens du détail (parapluie mis à disposition au cas où)

Beautiful cozy space !
Pros:

We loved the communal kitchen. The pool and surrounding outdoor space area was very relaxing . The restaurant at the front of the property ( though not run by the hotel) had really great food that they delivered to the pool. We stayed here at the end of a busy 12 day trip to Costa Rica. It was a relaxing vacation from our vacation. My young adult children enjoyed the place and our room had enough space for the 4 of us.

Pros:

Very comfortable beds and pillows. The hotel is located in the center of dominical, just 2 minutes walk from the beach, yet it is super quiet and in the nature. Beautiful pool area and communal kitchen, well equipped. Super nice staff.

Lovely chill stay with great location
Pros:

Lovely chill relaxing pool area with chill music and cool egg chairs and loungers. The staff were friendly and helpful. The mattress topper and memory foam pillows were comfortable and the toiletries in the showers smelled really good! The shower was strong and had good hot water. Loved having filtered water and the kitchen area at our disposal. First place we stayed in Costa Rica with more than 1-ply toilet paper! (Was much appreciated!). Rooms cleaned daily with fresh towels. Strong AC. Great location in middle of town. Free parking available on site.

Cons:

The bedding/ pillows had a slightly damp smell to them even when we first checked in. The outdoor yoga/ stretching area was a little dirty and could be better maintained. The general surrounding area of the hotel (entrance/ car park/ grounds) are quite wild and could perhaps do with some proper paved walkways for luggage with wheels/ for walking around - particularly after/ when it rained, walking in and out of the hotel became tricky to navigate due to stones and puddles.
