There were no towels, we had to ask for them hours later seeing that they weren't provided.

On Saturday afternoon on my return, because I had gone out, I have to wait outside the main gate for almost 30minutes without anyone opening the gate. I buzzed until I just stood on the shadow next to the gate. And eventually when the lady saw me, she opened and did not even bother to apologize or ask if I hadn't been standing for long.

Lastly, I am not certain if we missed the instruction that we must request the cleaning service for our room, because it was not cleaned on Saturday and the services was not offered.

Only got 1 towel and the shower wasn't clean

There is iron, ironing board and microwave in the room. Upgrade with the profit is needed. Or the staff must bring the ironing or ironing board if you need it.

This was one of the worst accommodation experiences I have ever had, and the photos and description on Booking.com were completely misleading compared with what we actually found.

The room was dirty, mouldy and had a strong, unpleasant smell. There was thick black mould throughout the bathroom — around the shower, basin and even across the ceiling. The shower shown in the Booking.com listing was nothing like the shower we were given. The shower door was missing and had been replaced with a dirty, mould-covered plastic curtain.

There were gecko droppings throughout the room, dirty curtains that were poorly fitted, and the ceiling light had numerous dead insects trapped inside it to the point that the light was noticeably dim.

For two guests, we were given only ONE towel. The soap holder was broken, and there was no proper information provided about how to enter or exit the property or how to access the Wi-Fi.

The fridge being positioned immediately next to the toilet door was particularly concerning from a hygiene perspective.

The condition of the room was so off-putting that we did not even use the facilities and did not bother going for breakfast. We effectively lost R800 because the accommodation was not in a condition where we felt comfortable staying.

What concerns me most is the huge difference between what is advertised online and what guests actually receive. The photographs create an impression of a clean, properly maintained accommodation, while the room we received was dirty, mouldy and poorly maintained.

This place gave the impression of being used primarily for very cheap overnight stays rather than genuine guest accommodation, and the condition of the room reinforced that impression.

I would strongly advise future guests to look carefully at recent reviews and confirm the actual condition of the room before booking. The establishment seriously needs to address its hygiene, maintenance and accuracy of its online listing.
