Equalia Rose Hotel

We spent 6 nights in the hotel, it was our best stay ever and it is because the people.
The hotel had some minor issues (for example the lock didn't work on 1 door), but the staff was always ready to help, even when one of us stepped in sea urchin they performed a little surgery on his foot without hesitation.
My father had his 66th birthday there and they went above and beyond. Their customer service is excellent.
I would like to thank you for everything it was a pleasure to meet you all.

L’emplacement de l’hôtel est pas mal ,par contre quand on est arrivé la baie vitrée ne se fermait pas, c’est mon ami qui a dû la réparer et graisser le barillet, rien ne fonctionnait…la salle de bain les toilettes fuit au sol et la nuit pratique pour aller au toilette sans se mouiller les pieds…
Ensuite des coupures d’électricité, tous les jours, même la nuit et même fenêtre ouverte, je peux vous certifier qu’on a vécu l’horreur sans climatisation. Le bruit le matin 5h30 les locaux on sait qu’ils sont là…
Le personnel est très gentil ,comme souvent à Zanzibar
vraiment je conseille pas cette établissement . Très déçu !!

Our stay at Aquelia Rose hotel was nothing short of magical. From the moment we arrived, we were enveloped in an atmosphere of genuine warmth and hospitality that made it very hard to leave!
A massive thank you to Mike and the entire team for being such incredible hosts. Mike goes above and beyond to ensure every guest feels at home, and his local knowledge is invaluable. He gave us the best tips for exploring Jambiani and Zanzibar Island, from football Tanzanian game place to
spice farm tour ensuring we experienced the authentic side of the island and the most beautiful local spots.
A special shout-out to Massa and the rest of the staff. Their kindness and attention to detail during breakfast were remarkable—we felt truly cared for throughout our entire stay. It’s rare to find service that feels this personal and sincere.
The hotel itself is beautiful with a perfect location front beach , but it’s the people who make it a world-class experience. If you are looking for a place where you’ll feel welcomed like family and treated with the utmost care, look no further than Aquelia Rose.
Also, appreciate access to food and drink from kitchen ☺️

Everything ❤️ You literally walk down some stairs and you are already on the beach. The staff were super amazing with my daughter and I. The rooms were cleaned daily. WiFi worked. Rooms had air-cons plus a fan, hot water. I would definitely go back there and recommend to my family and friends. 100% value for money.

Exceptional Stay! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Everything during our stay was perfect. The room and facilities were very clean and well-prepared, and the whole experience was smooth from start to finish. The reception staff, especially Mikael, were incredibly friendly and helpful, as were the manager and the rest of the team.
The food was excellent, with a nice selection of dishes and fresh juices. They can also prepare special meals upon request, which was a lovely personal touch.
Overall, we had a fantastic stay and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for comfort, great service, and a welcoming atmosphere.

Beachfront property with sun loungers which was amazing. Comfortable clean rooms and reception always ready to help. Small pool in the back of the hotel which was a lovely suprise.
