This is an ideal stopping point on the cycling trail. Restaurant food was also very good
Pros:

It was on the Clutha Gold Trail so as a cyclist was perfectly located. It had a large seating area for meals- nice grounds. Small cabin where we stayed was great too

Pros:

Hotel staff were friendly and helpful.

Cons:

Cabin was basic. No towel provided. As a single traveller I paid the same price as 2 people - a reduced rate for singles would be helpful.

Comfortable cabins and good stopover location en route to Dunedin
Pros:

Cabins were quiet, modern and comfortable. They were also well insulated so we could rest well. A good stop if visiting Gore.

Cons:

The kitchen was quite dated and could do with renovation. Bathrooms, whilst clean, were a little rustic.

Lovely spot
Pros:

I enjoyed the quietness and clean room. I was very surprised with the linen in the room as on the website says no linen included. The twin cabin was spacious and warm. The shower block was clean.
Will for sure come and stay again!

Perfect overnight stop while cycling, but you pay a premium for the lack of other option.

Great location and good basic amenities for an overnight stop while cycling the Clutha Gold trail. Very helpful staff.

Cons:

No competition and limited food and accommodation options around this part of Central Otago are reflected in the prices.
