Spacious room
Pros:

The room was spacious and there was plenty of parking. The breakfast staff were very friendly and attentive.

Cons:

The room was really dusty. I was clean but obviously hadn't been opened up for a while and the bedside tables etc were dusty. The mattresses were not great.

Cons:

Unfortunately, I was disappointed with both the treatments and the initial welcome. The massage involved very little pressure, so it provided limited benefit. The 30-minute facial also felt incomplete: my makeup was not properly removed, and scrub residue remained on my skin afterward.

When we arrived, the receptionist immediately asked us to move our vehicle because the space was reserved, without first greeting us or allowing us to check in. This felt unwelcoming.

Not the relaxing weekend we needed
Pros:

Very nice place spa was lovely and the treatments we had.

Cons:

Tooo noisy lots going on so it didn’t cater for the paying guests. If we had known before hand that it was going to be such a busy weekend for the hotel I would have cancelled and rebooked elsewhere.

We were lucky to get the live music festival

We didn't stay in spa for long as the general temperature was unpleasant.

Pros:

The pool was great. Staff were friendly and helpful. Food was nice. Room was a good size and beds were comfy.

The music was quite loud when we arrived. The hotel itself is a tad dated but still fine.

An OK stay but at £200 it was not value for money.

Friendly, helpful staff. Good food.

Cons:

There was a wedding on so we could not use the restaurant. There was a wedding on so there was noise below our window as guests came and went during the late evening. There was a wedding on so we were second-class customers. The room was OK but the bathroom was a bit tired with large gaps in the sealant around the work-surface for example. The from of the building was dirty with water staining by every window. It should have been repainted a few years ago.
