For a couple of nights this is an excellent place to stay.
Pros:

Clean, quiet, and very close to a very good restaurant - next door.

Cons:

A little isolated for going anywhere farther a field for dinner.

The kindest and best staff ever--including at the restaurant!
Pros:

It was a little difficult in that you had to arrive between 3:00 pm and 8:00 pm. I'm not sure why that is the case because the hotel desk appeared to be manned later (and earlier.) But the luggage transfer from the ferry went smoothly. But, I was first in line off the ferry and first in line at the bicycle shop where they said to drop the luggage. Probably, there should be a sign for bicycle renters (of which there were very many) and a sign and separate line for luggage transfers. The people were so sweet. Wonderful! Just stellar. The breakfast was so good!I I loved the lounge hour where you could get coffee or tea from 3-8. Snacks, too! Great selection of local books!

Cons:

Nothing! Id just plan ahead on restaurants!

Pros:

L'hôtel est vraiment un excellent rapport qualité/prix. Peu de chambres donc très calme. Hyper joliment décorées. Les chambres sont bien équipées et les lits confortables. Le petit déjeuner au restaurant est excellent (le restaurant est d'ailleurs une énorme pépite pensez surtout à toujours réserver les dîners il est pris d'assaut). Le personnel est très aidant et fait tout pour rendre notre séjour agréable. J'ai loué un vélo directement auprès de l'hôtel ce qui était très pratique et tout s'est bien passé. J'espère vraiment y revenir un jour.

Good location, ok for one night on the island
Pros:

Location is great and staff is very friendly.

Cons:

Room is tiny and lacks insonorisation. We could the neighbors speak and they were not especially loud.

Breakfast served at the Regalo restaurant nearby is just OK. So is the food. Other options on the island are scarce though as other hotels serve their guest first.

This is not what I would name « wright style » !

Lovely hotel for exploring Naoshima
Pros:

Friendly and helpful staff, great location for the bus and a lovely Italian next door for food. Room was clean and a good size. We would stay here again!
