A hotel with plenty of character, great views and excellent evening meals.
Pros:

An older hotel with plenty of character. Staff were helpful and friendly. Room was rather spartan/tired but warm and the bed was comfortable. View from the room over the surrounding vineyards was spectacular. Shower had plenty of hot water but shower head had to be held by hand which we found awkward. Breakfast was typical French style and ok. Restaurant in the evening was very good with a reasonable choice and really excellent food (we ate there both nights of our stay). Parking was on the road just up from the hotel and was free. We would happily stay there again when visiting Sancerre.

Cons:

Hand held shower was awkward to use.

Le prix du petit déjeuner un peu excessif pour une famille de 3 (42 euros au total alors que dîner 95 euros avec apéro vin 3 plats et 1 dessert …)

Séjour agréable, lit confortable, quartier calme et très belle vue depuis les chambres.
Pros:

Hôtel situé à quelques centaines de mètres de l'hyper centre de Sancerre, parking gratuit à proximité, personnel très agréable et lieux bien tenu. Je recommande.

Cons:

La cabine de douche est un tantinet trop petite. Je réserverai une chambre avec une baignoire la prochaine fois. Pour le reste, aucun souci.

Une très bonne surprise dans un établissement qui est une vraie institution locale !
Pros:

Petit déjeuner style continental sans prétention mais qui répond largement au standard attendu notamment pour un hôtel 2*
J'ai bénéficié d'une chambre refaite récemment et digne d'un standing plus élevé comme dans les chaines hôtelières très connues.

Cons:

La décoration dans les espaces communs et certaines chambres qui méritent d'être rafraichies comme celle que j'ai eu la chance d'occuper
