Pros:

Hotel Zum See was an absolute gem of a find. It’s charming and quaint, with a warm, welcoming atmosphere that makes you feel at home straight away. The rooms are a little dated, but this honestly just adds to the charm and character of the place.

We felt it offered great value for money. The staff were amazingly helpful and genuinely friendly, always happy to assist with anything we needed and quick to offer advice or a lift into town.

The spa and sauna area is a lovely bonus, available to hotel guests in the afternoons. It’s the perfect way to relax after a day out skiing on the slopes and a real highlight of the stay.

The downstairs restaurant (run separately) is also well worth going to – the food was excellent and we thoroughly enjoyed our meal there.

Cons:

The only small drawback is the 700m uphill walk from town. However, the hotel will happily come down with their mini bus to give you a lift, which makes it very manageable.

Un posto stupendo nella Alpi Svizzere
Pros:

Posizione stupenda immersa nelle Alpi Svizzera e con vista sul lago e sulle montagne.
Abbiamo soggiornato qui perchè ha prezzi decisamente più abbordabili rispetto a Zermatt, ma è comunque facilmente raggiungibile.
La vista dal balcone non ha davvero prezzo.
Buona la colazione offerta al mattino, con diversi prodotti.
Camere belle in stile rustico

Cons:

Purtroppo è presente un solo cuscino molto molle, arrivando tardi la sera non abbiamo avuto modo di chiederne un altro.
Vista il tipo di struttura avremmo apprezzato un'accoglienza più "famigliare", che purtroppo non abbiamo trovato.
