La amabilidad del botones y de la dueña, que coincidimos en el aparcamiento.

Tiene parking y está en el mismo centro de la ciudad.

We had a fantastic stay at Hotel Chicago! The hotel was comfortable, welcoming, and offered excellent hospitality.

A special thank you to Ms. Sonila, who went above and beyond — customized breakfast for our vegetarian preferences, packed breakfast for our tour, and helped us with local recommendations and tour plans.

Her warmth, kindness, and personal care made our stay truly memorable. Highly recommended! ❤️

Pros:

Bereits bei Ankunft sind wir von einem netten Mitarbeiter begrüßt worden, der uns in den Parkplatz eingewiesen hat, zur Rezeption und zu unserem Zimmer gebracht hat. Wir haben von Shkoder aus 2 Tage in den albanischen Alpen verbracht. Da wir früh raus mussten, hat man uns extra noch ein Frühstück für unterwegs gemacht. Außerdem konnten wir für 1.000 ALL unser Auto weitere 2 Tage am Hotel parken. Wir waren rundum zufrieden.

Will not come back to this hotel
Pros:

Location is great, staff are very nice

Cons:

The fridge did not work for 2 days, we had to keep our things on the hotel bar and got some unpleasant faces when we asked to get it.
no hot water for 2 days we stayed there
Get is open only on 7:30, which is not convenient for who wants to workout in the morning

Pros:

Персоналът е супер! Усмихнат, винаги готов да помогне, с хубав английски. Закуската е богата, разточителна, вкусна . Прекалено много е хора, не може да се изяде. Разположен е в самия център на града и има собствен паркинг. Уникално!

Pros:

Bella struttura in posizione strategica per visitare il centro. Camere pulite. Per chi arriva in auto c'è il parcheggio gratuito dell'hotel incluso, molto comodo. Buona e abbondante la colazione. Molto cortesi e disponibili alla reception. Consigliato.

Only stayed for one night as had an early bus in the morning, bed were super comfortable and the room was absolutely perfect for one night. We left the hotel at 6.30 and they made us packed breakfasts to take with us which was a nice bonus!

Das Hotel ist gut aufgemacht. Die Mitarbeiter sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das Frühstück ist gut und reichlich.Der Parkplatz ist bewacht und der ParkplatzWächter ist super freundlich. uns hat es gefallen.

Cons:

War alles gut und was nicht gepasst hat(Einstellung Klimaanlage) würde sofort behoben.Was mich persönlich gestört hat, es war etwas laut, dafür zentral mit allem was dazugehört. (Moschee, FußgängerZone, StraßenKreuzung,)

Very bad experience at Hotel Chicago, Shkodër – after 15 years as a customer

I have stayed at this hotel one week before this reservation and then for another 5 days. I have also been a regular customer of Hotel Chicago’s restaurant and bar for around 15 years.

Before this reservation, I had made another reservation at the same hotel, and the staff knew that I had this upcoming reservation. For this reason, the way I was treated was even more disappointing.

I had made this reservation around 2 months in advance, and the payment had been made in advance by bank card. When I arrived at the hotel with my wife and my young child, I was told that my reservation had been cancelled because I had not arrived on time and that the room had been given to another customer.

What I find completely unacceptable is that the payment had already been made by bank card and the hotel had my phone number. They knew that I had a reservation, but nobody called or informed me before cancelling it and giving the room to someone else. If the reservation had already been paid for, I do not understand why the room was given to another customer without contacting me first.

After a long discussion, they gave me another room, which was more expensive, and asked me to pay the difference. I refused, because the situation was not caused by me. In the end, they gave me the room without asking me to pay the difference.

But what happened the following day was even worse.

I left the hotel and when I returned, I discovered that without my presence or authorization, the staff had entered my room and taken all of my personal belongings and luggage. When I returned to my room, my suitcases were no longer there.

I went to reception and asked where my belongings were. They told me that they had moved them to another room and that they had my luggage. I asked them: “With what authorization did you enter my room, take my luggage and personal belongings, and not call or inform me?

Maravilloso hotel económico en el centro de Shköder
Pros:

La ubicación es maravillosa, las vistas desde la terraza donde se pued disfrutar del desayuno son espectaculares. El desayuno, si bien no es buffet libre, es abundante y riquísimo con productos locales. Limpieza ok y cama muy cómoda. Parking gratuito dentro de las instalaciones (y fuera también tienen un espacio reservado)

Cons:

Por decir algo, la nevera del minibar no funcionaba pero rápidamente nos dieron solución para enfriar nuestro agua y nos dieron una cubitera con hielos.
