Un endroit où nous retournerions avec plaisir
Pros:

Grande maison traditionnelle et chaleureuse dans un environnement bucolique. L'hôte est très sympathique.
Petit déjeuner très bien et convenant à tous les appétits. Le pain était absolument délicieux.
Pour les voyageurs qui n'aiment que les établissements très modernes, passez votre chemin. Ici, il y a du vrai bois qui craque et qui vit, on adore. Idéal pour les randonneurs et cyclistes de tout poil !

Funktionell, angenehm, gute Preis-Leistung. Empfehlenswert!
Pros:

Es ist ein einfaches, aber funktionell ausgestattetes Hotel. Man merkt die Jahre des Hauses und der Einrichtung. Dafür war unser Zimmer sehr grosszügig und hatte schöne Aussicht, und man fühlt sich ein wenig wie in eine andere Zeit versetzt, was auch seinen Charme hat.
Die Betten waren bequem, ein moderner TV (braucht man das noch heutzutage?) und wichtig, eine warme Dusche waren tiptop. Frühstücksbuffet war sehr gut ausgestattet für die Hotelkategorie. Feiner selbstgemachter Tee!
Grosses Plus: Extrem nette Gastgeber.

Cons:

Vermutlich aufgrund vom Alter, sind die Wände und Türe sehr dünn. Man hört ziemlich alles, was im Gang und im Nachbarszimmer geht. Dies kann je nach "Empfindlichkeit" als unangenehm bezeichnet werden. Ist aber einigermassen in so einem Haus auch zu erwarten. Vielleicht könnte man dieses Thema bei einer allfälligen Renovation dies in Angriff nehmen.
Der Spielraum bräuchte leider etwas mehr Pflege in jedem Sinn. Da könnte man einiges mehr rausholen.

Ein schönes Hotel inmitten der Natur mit einer sehr freundlichen Gastgeberfamilie. Mein elfjähriger Sohn wollte gar nicht mehr nach Hause! Ideal für Menschen, die Natur dem Luxus vorziehen.

Super tolles Empfang und sehr nettes Personal. Das Hotel war toll und sauber, perfekte Lage in der Natur. Zimmer sauber und gut ausgestattet mit viel Platz. Frühstück sehr lecker, das Brot war der Hammer.

Une hospitalité exemplaire
Pros:

Un hôtel où on se sent immédiatement chez soi : l'accueil est des plus chaleureux, les chambres sont agréables, lumineuses et d'une propreté irréprochable, le petit déjeuner servi sous forme de buffet est bon et varié avec beaucoup de produits locaux. Et l'emplacement est aussi formidable : belle vue sur la campagne et les villages voisins et proximité de nombreux points d'intérêt (Saint-Gall, Appenzell, Wasserauen, Ebenalp, etc), sans oublier les nombreuses possibilités de randonnée.
Les hôtes sont non seulement très accueillants mais ils connaissent aussi très bien la région et nous ont conseillé deux très bons restaurants. Bref, que des compliments !

Wir haben uns wohl gefühlt.
Pros:

Die Gastgeber waren sehr sehr freundlich und unkompliziert Das Frühstück, mit regionalen und hausgemachten Produkten war sehr gut. Das Hotel ist sehr ruhig gelegen und doch nah beim Dorf. Die Zimmer sind gemütlich und grosszügig. Die Wanderwege beginnen direkt beim Hotel. Hunde sind willkommen.

Cons:

Leider gab es im Hotel kein Nachtessen. Das Dorf ist aber in 10 Min. zu Fuss ereichbar.
