A Great Stopover for Work.
Pros:

A fabulous stay that I thoroughly enjoyed. The room was clean and spacious, and newly refurbished. It had a very good television, refreshments and a chair and table for paperwork. The en-suite (including shower and wash basin) was clean with running hot water and plenty of toilet paper. The room was warm and quiet and, I was asleep instantly; I had a deep slumber and was refreshed upon awakening. Clean linen and towels enhanced the experience. Thank you again.

Pros:

Very convenient as it is closely located to the train station and easy to find. It has all the basics things you would want in your room and they provided shampoo, conditioner and shower gel. The room and bathroom were very clean.

Cons:

The decor is a little tired and chipped in places. Just note that there isn't anyone on site overnight but there is a number you can call if needed.

Pros:

A fabulous room that was spacious, warm (especially on a cold night outside), cosy, very clean, but most of all peaceful and quiet (and more so when you are a weary traveller who needs a good nights sleep). The bed was comfortable and I dropped off to sleep immediately and had a good nights sleep all of the night. The en suite facilities were exceptionally clean and spacious and with all modern appliances and decor. The carpet was clean and fresh and everywhere was tidy. Although, I didn't make full use of the TV, it was of a very high quality in terms of sound, picture quality and channel selection. I have booked more rooms in the future for work, and I am glad that I have, especially as the price was very reasonable. Finally, the host was friendly and welcoming, and she should be proud of what she has done to a magnificent building.

Would definitely stay here again.
Pros:

Very friendly team who were really helpful. Bus stop is right outside and train station 5 mins walk. Trains are regular and take you straight to Cardiff.
Buses are regular aswell but take longer to get to Cardiff. The room was warm, clean and comfortable.

Cons:

We were more than happy and although it’s not in the centre it’s easy to get there.

I paid for the hotel, and texted them I’ll be there at 22.30-23.30. I got there at 23.00 and couldn’t get in there

Ruined by booking.com double booking
Pros:

We like it here it’s a nice pub and the food is good and the rooms are comfortable enough. It is good value for money and the staff were very friendly and helpful.

Cons:

We booked 2 family rooms so that each member of our party that wasn’t a couple would have their own bed, however one of the rooms was double booked by booking.com meaning we had to have a double room instead. My two adult sons had to share a double bed which they were understandably not very happy about.
