Mauvais rapport qualité-prix. Pour presque 200 chf la nuit, les clients méritent autre chose!
Pros:

Les lits, seul objet qui ne semblait pas vétuste dans cet hôtel, et les draps propres.
La situation géographique très pratique de Ulrichen (à l'intersection entre plusieurs lieux emblématiques de la Suisse)

Cons:

L'ambiance vieille partout (chambre, couloir, salles à manger). Et la très mauvaise qualité du restaurant de l'hôtel.
Comment peut-on encore aujourd'hui proposer un menu si pauvre en choix sains et des plats si mauvais ? Ma croûte au fromage baignait dans la graisse. Le "curry indien" de mon compagnon ressemblait, d'apparence et de goût, à un plat dégoûtant de cantine scolaire des années 90.
Pourtant, avec la disponibilité d'ingrédients de qualité dans la vallée (supermarchés, producteurs locaux), il ne faudrait pas beaucoup d'efforts pour améliorer la situation. Honte au cuisinier !

Pros:

Als Gast wird man begrüsst. Das Personal ist durchwegs sehr aufmerksam. Die praktisch permanente Anwesenheit des Direktors und des Restaurantleiters ist besonders hervorzuheben. Das Hotelzimmer (1) war sehr gross. Einzig die enge Nasszelle war eher Zelle als Baderaum, das nur als kleine Anmerkung.
Meine Frau und ich können Ihr Hotel bestens weiter empfehlen.

If I need somewhere to stay around Ulrichen again the Hotel Walser will be my first choice.
Pros:

The location is easy to reach, the hotel is friendly, all staff without exception make you feel special and the restaurant provides excellent food. Will definitely book here if/when I return
