Great value, large spacious and comfortable
Pros:

Location: the river was tremendous, steps from downtown

Design: deck is spacious and ingenious so it feels private from neighboring cabin

Pros:

Stayed many times great location for the blues and loved the place, the cancelation was 30 days to not be charged, this year I needed to cancel for personal reasons I did it 3 months in advance, they said new policy no refund for the first night. My card was run for a little over $500, asked if I could use it for a different time was told no. They have already rented the room again made money off it twice. Loved staying there but not anymore, make sure you read the fine print.

We stayed during the off season, so things were really quiet in town.
Pros:

The location is right in the center of town. Parking was easy and included in the overnight stay cost. Each Cabin has a designated parking space. The kitchen was small but efficient.

Great stop in Withrop
Pros:

Large amount of space with hot tub and deck overlooking river. Walking distance to everything in town.

Cons:

Nothing. Wish we could have stayed longer! However a lot was closed in the town as it was off season.

Rivers Edge Resort Winthrop WA Extorted Our Money!! Do Not Stay Here!!
Pros:

This resort extorted my money. I was double booked online because of a glitch online that caused a double booking. I immediately contacted the booking agency to let them know there was an error, along with the hotel directly. The hotel manager that I talked to said there would be no problem and that they would take care of the issue. We checked in to our room and again another lady which was the owner said no worries we will take care of it. We get to our room and because it was very small request an upgrade. She was very accommodating, and moved us to the river side. She then charged us another $400 for the total stay upgrade which I was fine with. Problem was the double booking refund of $400+ was never refunded. I confirmed with the booking agency that the resort was paid for both bookings and that they should have refunded the difference. I’ve waited 3 months+ and a dispute as well and nothing. So the Rivers Edge Resort in Winthrop received my payments for both the double booking and my upgrade payment and would not accommodate my refund. The manager on the phone confirmed she received all payments and basically told me she won’t do anything about it and is keeping my money!! This resort is not a hotel I would ever recommend!! The hot tubs are very dated and the jets barely work. The cabins are dated and the utensils they give you to cook with are from the dollar store. The bed we slept in was so old, broken and the mattress was sunk in like a 800lb couple slept in the bed!! Woke up every morning hurting from the bed! Then with the hot tub being a barely luke warm bath and no jets working, there was no comfort in this stay at all. STAY AWAY FROM THIS RESORT!!! STAY FAR FAR AWAY!!! DO NOT BOOK!

We had a wonderful stay!
Pros:

Quiet, cozy cabin. The hot tub was wonderful on a cold evening. The entire space was clean and well stocked. Everything worked as it should. Wonderful experience next to the river.

cant beat the location, but curb your expectations
Pros:

The location was great and hot tub was fantastic after doing winter activities.

Cons:

This is more of an air bnb vs an actual hotel / lodge so expect to do a fair amount of cleaning at the end of the stay. Other part i didn't love as the guest count. I booked several months in advance and wasnt completely sure how many would be staying so booked at a certain rate and was blindsided by the additional costs when we got there for the additional guests. Yes in the terms and conditions it says there would be an adjustment based on final guest count, but what they dont mention is that its an extra $50 per extra guest per night. (this really should be stated with the guest count adjustment) this is also done as private sales vs through booking.com so a little shady especially when you show up and now have a large unexpected charge.
