The location, it’s rustic but charming. Not pretentious and is perfect for a short, disconnected, raw beach weekend.
The property needs to be organized. It has so much potential to be clean and straight forward. Things are cluttered and it needs work and maintenance on the grounds.

Beautiful location right on the beach—it almost feels like a private beach since there’s only one other property along that stretch. The hotel is located on the opposite end of Playa del Amor. The gentleman who checked me in (the owner) is a class act—super nice, helpful, and always ready with local recommendations.
If you’re looking for a luxury beach resort, this might not be the place for you. But if your goal is to disconnect, enjoy laid-back beach vibes, and relax in a quiet area while still being close to all the bars and restaurants, this spot is perfect. I will definitely stay here again.

It’s right on the beach and they are very friendly
There’s no air conditioning and it is humid and buggy during the rainy season.

Not great if you don’t like walking stairs. You should be mindful you will need to climb about 2-3 flights at night.

Love the location, the room, hearing the ocean every night, walking out to the beach every morning, and of course the Lo Cosmico family is just wonderful! Can’t wait to visit again!

Authentic charm, great coffee and meals at the cafe, excellent location, but the best feature of Lo Cósmico is the staff! Antonio and his daughter, Violeta, were delightful hosts. We felt like family. Thank you! Can’t wait to come back! ☀️

The owners will make sure you feel at home, and the other guests are super friendly as well, fantastic atmosphere! From my room I could see the ocean and be in the water in two minutes. I loved that I had a private space but there was always nice people around, it felt very cozy.
Not the best place if you are scared of insects and little rainforest animals as I am, however after one day I relaxed and forgot about it, and it was so worth it because I've had a fantastic time.
